Description

Great location, less than 200ft to the sandy shores of Sauble Beach - this three bedroom (plus cabin) Sauble cottage is the perfect place for you to enjoy your vacation with your family! Enter into the rear of the cottage and you'll find yourself in the galley kitchen where you'll have the use of amenities like the fridge, stove, microwave and more. A bright window overlooks the kitchen sink, adding light to the space. Step out of the kitchen to the dining space where the table and chairs are situated by a sizeable window looking out to the rear of the property. Enjoy your meals while the Sauble sunshine streams in! This dining space shares a large, open room with the living room space. This room has a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with satellite and a DVD player. A couch and multiple comfy chairs provide adequate seating for all in your group, while a ceiling fan overhead will help to keep the air circulating. Doors off of this main living space will lead you to the bedrooms.

Within the cottage there are three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms each have a double bed while the third bedroom has two singles. Each bedroom has its own window so you can let the summer breeze in! The bathroom is located just off the kitchen, and it is a four-piece bathroom with a combination tub/shower.

A unique feature of this cottage is the 14 X 16 sleeping cabin that is located in the backyard. This cozy little cabin offers a double bed, a two-piece bathroom with toilet and sink, as well as its own kitchen including a fridge, sink and counter space. Windows let the sunlight in, but the cabin also has electricity and includes a quaint sitting area where you can read your favourite book. On cooler evenings in the spring and early fall the cabin can still keep you warm, as the unit has its own electric baseboard heater. This is the perfect cabin for older kids that want their own space or the person in your group that enjoys solitude.

For your outdoor enjoyment there are two decks at this cottage. The back deck, accessed out through the kitchen, is bright and sunny and is a great spot to sit at the patio table with its four chairs or stretch out on the lounger. At the front of the cottage is the covered deck with additional seating. This is a great deck to enjoy your morning coffee, with a view of Lake Huron beyond, and watch the world go by at the slower, cottage pace! At the front/roadside of the cottage there is a small grassy yard adjacent to the long driveway. To the rear of the property the grass turns to sand, so take off your shoes and let your toes feel it! While this property isn't direct waterfront, it is only 200ft from the sandy shores of Sauble Beach, just across the road! In front of the cottage there is natural vegetation and brush across the road on the protected sand dunes and beyond that is Lake Huron. With its gradual entry and great swimming opportunities, Lake Huron is the perfect holiday destination for adults and children alike.

This cottage is very close to the Sauble River. For additional family fun you can rent a canoe or paddleboat at the Sauble River Marina and explore Sauble River all the way up to Sauble Falls and beyond! And don't forget to enjoy the many attractions and activities that the Bruce Peninsula has to offer - from golf courses, shopping in downtown Sauble, to hiking the Bruce Trail - and so much more!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
