Description

Cozy three bedroom, 700 square foot Sauble cottage located just 200 metres to the beach! A less than five minute walk will bring you to the fantastic sandy shoreline of Sauble Beach where you can build sandcastles, sunbathe and splash in the waves all day long.

Pull up to the cottage on a secondary road and find a thick row of cedar hedges that shields the cottage's front yard from the road. There are trees along the sides and to the rear of the property that provide privacy from neighbours so you can enjoy the great outdoor space.

Enter into the sunroom with its many windows to bring in the sunlight and give you a view of the side yard. One door leads you in from the driveway and on the other side of the sunroom is a door that leads you out to the backyard. There is seating in the sunroom which is perfect for hanging out with a good book, or take an afternoon nap on the futon.

Head into the main part of the cottage and find the petit but efficient kitchen with its fridge, stove/oven, microwave, window over the sink and the dining table with seating for four. Just adjacent is the living room space with its ample comfy seating and an electric fireplace for those cooler nights. There is a 40" HD TV with Satellite a Blu-Ray DVD player, so bring along your Blu-Ray movies for evening or rainy weather entertainment.

The cottage has three bedrooms, two of which each have a double bed. The additional bedroom has a set of single bunkbeds. The bathroom is a three-piece with a shower.

The outside space is where you can go to enjoy the sun, lounge in the hammock, or take a seat at the patio table with its four chairs, or use the picnic table to feast on what you've cooked up on the propane BBQ. There is a fire pit as well so you can take part in the popular summer ritual of roasting marshmallows, stargazing and storytelling around the campfire.

The cottage is just 250 metres (about a 2 minute walk) from the sandy shores of Sauble Beach, via a trail. Head down the street and turn onto 8th Street South which is a small side street at the end of which is a trail that leads you right onto the beach. This is a great sandy beach for children and families with gradual entry into the water for fantastic swimming opportunities.

The cottage is only 600 metres (about a 7 minute walk) to the main downtown area of Sauble, where you'll find unique retail shops, ice cream stores, and restaurants. Sauble is a great base from which to enjoy day drives to Tobermory, Wiarton and Owen Sound to explore the area.

How do damage deposits work?
