Description

The farm consists of a small and charming stone farmhouse, immersed in the greenery of a hilly area protected in a private estate of 8 hectares, which offers an exceptional panorama on the southern Maremma, the Argentario to the island of Elba. The property, in a natural oasis of silence, Mediterranean scents and tranquillity in which also the hawks nest is located at 400 m above sea level, not far from many important archaeological and historical sites and several beautiful coastal towns. Talamone is only 20 minutes away by car, the beautiful beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia and the Parco dell'uccellina at a variable distance between 35-50 minutes. The small farmhouse, furnished with a warm and comfortable mix of nineteenth-century furniture and modern features, with antique terracotta floors and exposed beams, is surrounded by a mixed forest of tall trees and Mediterranean scrub.

INTERIOR ARRANGEMENT: from the front patio, with views of the Maremma to the sea, you access both to the entrance to the living, the main environment with living/dining room/kitchen. On the entrance doors of the main bedroom, bathroom and hallway that leads to the second room, an alcove with a bed built in what was the old furnace farm.

DISTANCES: ACCESS ROAD: 400 m track in good condition, with parking space before the House. The last 100 m are downhill, so it is preferable to use a four-wheel drive car. The reservation of a car of this type can be made upon request.

ATTRACTIONS WITHIN 20-60 KM: Siena, Montemassi, Grosseto, Massa Marittima, Roselle, Vetulonia, Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Saturnia, Magliano, Montemerano, Pereta, Scansano, Capalbio, Monte Amiata.

ATTRACTIONS WITHIN 60-100 MILES: Montalcino, Val d'Orcia, Populonia, Isola del Giglio (embarking at Porto s. Stefano).

TYRRHENIAN SEA: Talamone (31 km), Parco Naturale dell'uccellina (30 km), beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia (40 km), Monte Argentario (Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole and Ansedonia at 40 km approx), Punta Ala (55 km), Capalbio Scalo (40 km).

SPORTING activities: horse riding (various stables at 2 km); sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing (various schools, including international Talamone, Marina di Grosseto and Castiglione), subacqueee diving and fishing (Talamone); trekking and mountain-biking (trails and routes in all directions); skiing (Monte Amiata).

OTHER activities: thermal baths (Spa); Food and wine; Mycology, bird-watching.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
