Era um imóvel de excelente qualidade, para a época, pertencente e mandado construir nos finais do século dezanove, por José Alves Pereira, tenente do exército português, que, participou na primeira guerra mundial, defendendo as cores portuguesas. Esta casa distinguia-se de todas as outras na aldeia por ter um telhado com formato invertido que se tornou famosa e denominava-se também, por “A casa dos três bicos”, e por ser uma das mais ricas e confortáveis, para a época. Destacou-se como músico, amante das artes, tendo-se casado após ter vindo da guerra e não tendo tido filhos. Porém, tinha nove irmãos e muitos sobrinhos, pelo que toda a gente o tratava na aldeia como “o TIO TENENTE”. Após a sua morte, por não ter herdeiros directos, a sua fortuna foi divida por via judicial. Entretanto uma das sócias desta sociedade, como era umas das herdeiras, adquiriu a restante cota-parte aos outros herdeiros e em sua homenagem criou uma sociedade com o nome pelo qual o mesmo e a sua casa eram mais conhecidos, “ A CASA DO TIO TENENTE”. Pretendendo-se, assim, preservar a memória de uma pessoa distinta e querida na terra.

Após a aquisição do imóvel, foi submetido e aprovado nos serviços camarários um projecto de reconstrução do mesmo.

A reconstrução baseou-se no uso de dois materiais existentes na região: pedra de Xisto e madeira de Pinho.

O exterior é revestido a pedra de xisto com juntas fechadas e as pedras envernizadas com verniz transparente para manter a coloração das pedras tal e qual estão na natureza.

O interior é todo revestido a madeira de pinho, quer no soalho, quer em paredes e tectos. Todas as paredes, tectos e pavimentos são técnicos, isto é, têm tábuas amovíveis para a passagem de cabos e canalizações. Essa madeira interior está protegida com um verniz aquoso transparente e ignífugo, para manter a madeira á sua cor mais natural possível.

Na parte técnica, salientamos as paredes de grande espessura (80 cm) com pedra caixa-de-ar, isolamento térmico, nova caixa-de-ar e madeira. Em pavimentos e em tectos foram usados igualmente isolamento térmico para melhor conforto. Foi implementado um sistema de aquecimento, por chão radiante, aquecido por uma caldeira a gás que tem o apoio de painéis solares. As águas quentes sanitárias obedecem ao mesmo princípio. Interiormente usaram-se portas em madeira de pinho e para o exterior janelas e portas em PVC, com vidro duplo e caixa-de-ar.

O imóvel contempla ainda uma lareira a lenha, bem como um fogão a lenha, fogão este que contempla uma caldeira de água, que, quando em uso auxilia o aquecimento de águas quer para o pavimento radiante, quer para águas sanitárias.

O imóvel é constituído por seis suites amplas, todas com base de duche e zona de vestir. Duas delas contemplam um amplo terraço. A sua decoração é simples, todas as camas têm um colchão de casal, edredons de penas e lençóis de boa qualidade. Os roupeiros são de pinho, sem portas, para melhor visualização, das peças arrumadas/ desarrumadas.

A casa tem uma sala de estar, uma sala de jantar, uma sala de jogos, com casa de banho de apoio, amplas zonas de lazer cobertas e arejadas e ainda um parque de estacionamento para viaturas dos hóspedes.

Na sala, os sofás são forrados a LACK, e as cadeiras de braços lacadas a branco. As paredes têm quadros a óleo dos pintores Pedro Correia, José Seixas e Dmitri Romanov.

Existe televisão em todos os quartos, nas salas e na cozinha com acesso a dezenas de canais nacionais e internacionais. (MEO satélite). Há INTERNET em todo o imóvel de acesso livre e sem custos. Dispomos de dois computadores nas salas de estar, de acesso livre.

O imóvel contempla ainda uma rede de SPRINGLERS em todos os compartimentos, que em caso de sobreaquecimento devido a incêndio, disparam e lançam água sobre a zona de calor.

Todos os pisos têm extintores bem identificados, manta para fogo e estojo de primeiros socorros.

How do damage deposits work?
