Waterfront, on the Severn River (part of the Trent-Severn System) just minutes from Sparrow Lake. APPROX. Lat Long.: 44.790501,-79.392239.
Two screened porches (front and rear) plus an outside deck overlooking the river and lawns.
Lovely cottage on the Severn River at the border between Muskoka and Severn Township. Only a few minutes up river from the rugged beauty of Sparrow Lake, and downriver from Trent-Severn Lock 42 and the warm turquoise water of Lake Couchiching.
Take a spectacular boat trip right from the front door into Georgian bay in only a couple of hours, or boat right to Casino Rama in under an hour! Or, just relax in the screened porch in between swims from the dock. In a quiet location only minutes by car or boat to dining and activities at resorts in Port Stanton.
Three bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs. First upstairs bedroom with one double and two twin beds, second upstairs bedroom with one double bed and two twin beds. Downstairs master bedroom with one double bed. Lots of parking.

“Don't believe the pictures”
Nice location. If you are allergic to mold and mildew please stay away. Messy and cluttered. There is a lot of emphasis on renters cleaning up when they leave but appears that little is done by the … More
Owner's reply: The cottage is bone dry, and four feet off the ground with a well-ventilated crawl space. It's not even damp, let alone musty. It also has a new roof. The spring and summer of 2017 WERE the wettest in recorded weather history so our grounds and vegetation never had a chance to dry this year - maybe this was the issue? Our pictures are accurate and not retouched or staged. The cottage is cleaned weekly and maintained regularly. We do a big spring clean including the carpets, and then clean weekly to keep things in good shape. It IS a 100 year-old classic Muskoka style cottage so it's not new but IS certainly clean and well-maintained. I sense this review is not from the person who actually arranged to rent the cottage, and maybe they were expecting something different. If you want a quiet, comfortable, well-maintained but older cottage in a nice area then come and enjoy as we do. If you are looking for a five-star hotel with marble floors this is not the place for you.

The view of the river was amazing, the cottage was really cute and had everything we needed. Lone having access to the canoë and rowboat! will book again and recommend to friends and family!!!

“Quaint Cottage”
It was clean and spacious. Nice size porch and sun room and nice view. There were 8 of us and the space was very comfortable. We would go there again.
