Located in a building with courtyard in a quiet street near the lively squares Moravia, San Julian and San Marcos.

In the appartment there are books and also several travelguides on the town and region.

Nearby attractions: Macarena Basilica, Convent of Santa Paula, Churches of San Luis and San Marcos. Less than 10 min away: Plaza Encarnación with the spectacular Metropol Parasol (“mushrooms”) project and Alameda boulevard. Within 20 min: Cathedral, Alcázar (Royal Palace), El Corte Inglés Department Store, Museum of Fine Arts and the Guadalquivir river.

What to do?

- Visit the neighborhood surrounding the apartment, the most authentic of Seville: La Macarena, with its squares and narrow streets, artisan workshops, medieval churches, the market and the fleamarket (on Thursday), and of course the famous Virgin of Hope, the “Esperanza Macarena”.

- Discover the unknown Seville (at less than 10 min): The House of Pilate and the convent of Santa Paula and then join the locals for tapas in El Rinconcillo, the oldest bar in Seville.

- Follow the Roman cardo maximus to the most famous monuments of the city (less than 20 min): the Cathedral and the Alcazar, and then go for more tapas hopping in the Barrio de Santa Cruz

- Go for a walk and food at the Alameda boulevard or discover the spectacular project Metropol Parasol (the “Mushrooms”) (less than 10 min).

- Activity? Go jogging along the Guadalquivir river or discover Seville by bicycle, on it's 70 km of recently constructed bike lanes: the historical center, along the river, it's parks and expo grounds. And don't forget to climb the Giralda tower!

- Experience real flamenco in one of the many theatres or in the Flamenco museum.

- Restaurants: There are many quality bars and restaurants near the apartment.

- Excursions to ancient cities such as Cordoba, Carmona, Jerez or Cadiz.

- Go to the beach! Take a train to Cádiz from the main station (only 15 min away).

- Really enjoy nature in the Doñana National Park or the mountain ranges North of Seville and near Aracena and Grazalema.

Getting around

Several bus stops are at 300m. Only 2 km from the railway station. Free parking in the area but often difficult to find (that's the old town!). Parking garages with fee at 10 min in Jose Laguillo street or on Ponce de Leon square. In fact, you are in the historical centre and can reach all monuments, shops, etc. by foot.

Really lovely stay in this old town apartment. Has everything you need! Great WiFi, kitchen equipment, really comfortable bed. Lots of info/ books on the area. Great shower. Always someone on hand via phone if you need to contact. ( electric tripped while the hubby was at the Seville football game, had to call to discover fuse box was in wall covered in tree mural) 20 to 30 min walk into sightseeing areas, bit longer for us as we walked quite slowly. Bring comfortable shoes!
