Description

You've found a 5 star paradise on the Atlantic ocean. My place is a luxurious cedar chalet surrounded by nature's beauty on the edge of a tranquil pond near a private sandy beach. Special feature is the exquisite interior decor. You will be have the entire 2nd floor private to yourself with large master bedroom/king size bed and small bedroom/single bed, half-bath with toilet and sink, sky lights and closet space. Good place for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families (kids).

THE SPACE

Few places will compare to the environment of my place. A forest and water oasis in New Brunswick. Why? Accommodations, Decoration and Location. Let me explain...first of all, my house is a luxurious cedar house away from the noise of life. Here, you will find an extremely peaceful and relaxing environment. I am right in the middle of beautiful green nature, surrounded by a trees, flowers and wildlife directly on the edge of a picturesque pond next to the Atlantic Ocean on a beautiful private sandy beach with sand bars, perfect for long sunset walks. Need I say more? I will continue...the inside of the house has that familiar warm and cozy chalet feel with everything made with natural knotty pinewood, high vaulted ceilings, polished hardwood floors, fireplace and large windows open to the outside. The special feature of the house is the exquisite decor of exotic international items collected around the world during my travels. It creates an eclectic atmosphere for global trotters. Some say it looks like a museum of the world, free entrance. Days and nights are quiet with no sounds coming from road traffic or town. At night, the stars are bright and the only sounds are coming from the diverse Eco-system of the pond and forest such as birds, frogs, crickets, ducks, loons and animals of the night. It is a melodic symphony of critters from nature. This is an amazing place for travellers to get away and relax to recharge the batteries, spend time on the beach holiday with swimming in the ocean and long walks along the water, a romantic get-away for couples, family vacation with kids or to simply come back to from a busy day of business meetings or visits to local sites around the area. Whatever your story, this place flows with you.

DETAILS OF THE SPACE

The second floor is exclusive and private to you. 4 people can sleep in 3 beds in 3 rooms, meaning two in the master bedroom, one person in the small bedroom with single bed and one person in the common room with single bed. The common room (area) is between the master bedroom and the small bedroom thus 4 people can stay upstairs together This works well for a family ( or group) of 4 want to stay all together and not have one person staying in the bedroom on the main floor. The second floor is exclusive and private to the guests for the duration of the stay. This environment would be appropriate for a couple, a family of 4 consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids, a couple and 2 friends or a group of 3 friends wanting 3 separate rooms. There is a $65 charge for each extra person/extra bed after 2 people.

NOTE: There is the possibility to rent a fourth bedroom on the main floor with a single bed therefore, I could accommodate 5 people in 4 rooms.

NOTE: There is a $100 cleaning fee for multiple bedroom groups staying 3 days or more.

GUEST ACCESS

I live alone and spend most of my time writing at my desk so you are welcome to use the entire house and feel at home. I will not be a disturbance to your privacy. Guests can access the shower in second bathroom on the main floor, laundry (washer and dryer), kitchen with all appliances and eating necessities, formal dining room table seating 4, breakfast nook in open-air screened porch, backyard with lawn furniture, back deck with patio chairs, barbecue and Wi-Fi.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

I am always available to answer questions or make suggestions about activities in the area. At the same time, I am open to requests that make your stay more comfortable.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

The neighbourhood is a picturesque postcard considered to be a beach community with many beaches, sand dunes, forests, wildlife, boat marina, seafood restaurants and take-outs, parks, nature trails and boardwalks. There is also a 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away and a water park, casino, movie theatre, zoo, butterfly sanctuary 20 minutes away.

GETTING AROUND

Plenty of parking. There is no public transport in the area so arriving with your own vehicle is a definite must, however if your intention is to simple kick back relax and enjoy the nature, beach and peace and quiet, I could be persuaded to pick you up and drop you off at the Moncton airport 25 minutes away for a transportation fee of $60 each way - $120 roundtrip.

How do damage deposits work?
