Description

This upscale 5 bedroom home with three separate living areas is the ideal choice for your large family or group.

A 2 1/2 story home featuring 3144 sq ft of beautifully updated and decorated living. Natural gas in-floor hot water heat is a nice feature after a day of skiing. The main deck off the living room provides a view of the trees. Another covered deck with the is right outside of the kitchen with a BBQ.

The hot tub is located in the backyard surrounded by trees.

You can comfortably sleep 14 people with five bedrooms and three baths (and five T.V.'s). The vaulted ceilings and tall windows frame the dramatic views of Okanagan Lake and the city of Vernon. Fabulous sunsets.

The bright and airy main living area has a 2-way gas fireplace for a warm and comfortable ambiance. There is a T.V. In the living room. The dining room is an open concept with the living room with lots of windows and light. The large eat-in kitchen has four newer stainless appliances and a breakfast bar, along with a T.V. A full bathroom with bathtub is adjacent to the main level bedroom.

Private upper level master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and ensuite with a soaker tub and separate shower and another T.V.

The lower level offers loads of room to entertain with a kitchenette (sink, counter for preparation, additional overhead cabinets and a fridge) and a separate entrance. The family room has an electric fireplace and T.V. Separate games room with a foosball table and an air hockey table, plus some tables/chairs and a dartboard.

The bonus room is a media room with two-tier seating for screen viewing of the 60" T.V. Perfect for popcorn and movie nights. Washer/dryer is also included. Top all this off with a third full bathroom with a shower.

There are lots of storage areas and room for your gear. Secure storage for 5 mountain bikes is included. Please note the garage is not part of the rental.

Bonus: The hot tub is open during the winter and summer seasons at no extra charge.

Please note: Minimum of five nights during the Christmas/New Years period.

Getting around

On-Mountain Shuttle Bus: Continual looped service throughout Silver Star Mountain Resort is available daily but only during the winter. You can catch the shuttle in the Village every half hour into the evening – so if you want to stop off for some après-ski, this free drive home is very convenient. You can also take this bus to the village. Note: You can also flag down the shuttle bus anywhere along the route.

Special feature:  Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival).  This makes it convenient for you to arrive at any time after check in time - so if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning. Your hosts live at Silver Star, so we can ensure your holiday is everything you expected. We are also available to provide you with our "insider" tips so that you will love Silver Star as much as we do.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
