Description

This lovely 2 bedroom apartment is located in the well-established complex of Mediterraneo, within the popular area of Sitio de Calahonda. You enter the property and step into a spacious lounge and dining area. The lounge area boasts A/C and a coal effect electric fire, 2 comfy sofas and a large television. The dining area is furnished with a table and chairs and is next to the fully-equipped American kitchen with breakfast bar.

The property has a master bedroom with a double bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is lovely and bright and is furnished with two single beds, there is also a guest bathroom down the hallway.

This apartment enjoys a large lower terrace with table and chairs and a spiral staircase leads up to a spacious roof terrace equipped with a built in barbecue dining table and chairs and sun loungers. Both terraces have wonderful sea views and fabulous views of the mountains and surrounding area. The property offers Wi-Fi connection and overlooks a gated communal pool area with toilets and sunbeds.

Sitio de Calahonda is a large urbanisation between Marbella to the east and Fuengirola to the west and is part of La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa. Calahonda has grown to extend from the coast up into the wonderful green hills, and although there is a lot of development, Calahonda has managed to maintain a natural and rural environment and many green areas including 4 golf courses.

Calahonda is more like a small town and offers every amenity to the residents. There are commercial centres with supermarkets, banks, restaurants, shops and bars and a large array of sports facilities including a gym as well as tennis, padel and squash courts, and water sports available on the beach. Calahonda is a short distance from the marina of Cabopino, were there are more restaurants, bars and great sandy beaches to be found, as well as the pleasure of gazing at the yachts and boats.

There is a seasonal tourist road tram to and from the coast and the upper part of Calahonda that runs along the main road through the urbanisation. Calahonda also has an access point to the toll road, making touring around the Costa del Sol and the many towns and villages in the vicinity quick and easy.
