Description

Agapi Holiday House is an old traditional Cretan house, built in 1906, recently restored with great care in order to maintain its traditional architecture while using natural and ecological principles and materials. Agapi Holiday House offers the facilities of modern house without scarifying the original character and flavor of a traditional Cretan home.

The village of Sivas in located in the Southernmost point of Crete and Europe.

It carries the prestigious designation of a traditional Cretan village by the Greek state.

Here you will see many examples of 19th and early 20th century village architecture. The landscape is of outstanding natural beauty with unique flora and fauna. The climate is very mild.

Agapi Holiday House has spacious (80 square meters) newly-furnished rooms. It has been very carefully decorated and furnished in an elegant and tasteful way. The house is fully equipped and includes a kitchen - dining area (with a fireplace), a living room area (with a stove and a sofa), a bathroom and a bedroom (double bed). Bed, mattresses and linen are made of natural materials. The house has two yards with furniture, an inner yard and a terrace. There is free web network (Wi-Fi), laptop, TV, washing machine etc. - all equipment you may need for a comfortable stay.

Agapi Holiday House can accommodate up to 6 persons (maximum 4 adults), it is perfect for a family with children or 2 families. It is highly recommended for walkers, country lovers, active pensioners, newlyweds, writers, artists and generally all who need peaceful, quiet and inspirational surroundings.

This area is ideal for winter holidays, botanical walks, bird-watching (area code GR-187) and offers ideal opportunities for nature lovers.

For those that enjoy a gentle walk or a vigorous hike, there are many opportunities.

You may prefer to use the bicycles provided for a longer outings.

Agapi Holiday House is close to many unique Minoan archaeological sites:

Festos , Aghia Triada, Komos, Gortys and Kamares cave.

Historic sites, monasteries (Odigitrias Monastery), hermitages, and old country churches are all within easy access.

There are a number of remote beaches within a few kilometers; Red beach, Vathi beach and Martsalo beach,as well as impressive gorges, Agiofarago gorge being one of them.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Agapi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
