Description

Eleonas Gardens is a local community development within the picturesque Cypriot village of Sotira in Famagusta District. The apartment is a beautiful home from home penthouse apartment with everything you need to enjoy a nice relaxing stay. A typical day at the apartment can be enjoyed by simply lapping up the sun on the huge sun terrace or spending a lazy day chilling by the pool. Some of the big international fast food outlets will even deliver your snacks and meals to you whilst out by the pool or in the apartment. If cooking is your thing then the apartment has pretty much everything for a mediterranean style meal or even a good old BBQ.

Only a short driver from the main tourist beaches of Protoras and Ayia Napa as well as the lessor known beach resort of Ayia Thekla, it is also very close to the excellent Waterpark believed to be 1 of the biggest and best in Europe so there is definatley something close to hand for everyone to do. The local marina in Ayia Napa has some brilliant boat trips for all the family and fine restaurants as well as the reknown nightlife of course.

Sotira itself is a typical pretty Cypriot village where it definately has the local feel to it with everyone being very friendly with a smile never too far away. Banks, small local taverna's, bakeries are all on hand as well as adequate supermarkets and boutique type shops. A fine modern church welcomes you into the village alongside a much older traditional building.

The closest airport to Sotira is Larnaca where some of the big airlines (British Airways and Cyprus Airways) fly to of which is approximately 40mins drive from our apartment. Many of the budget airlines (Easyjet, Jet2 and Blue Air) fly from the many UK regional airports to Larnaca.

We can arrange car hire for you through our lovely property agent Jill, she can also arrange an airport 'meet and greet' along with some basic groceries for you in a nice 'welcome pack' should you endure a late flight arrival, this is all in addition to the basic rental charge of course. Jill has been superb in looking after all the needs for the apartment and its guests and nothing has been too much trouble.....even if it is just some local knowledge you may need.

All in all, we would welcome you to stay at our apartment and are sure you would have a superb time staying at Eleonas Gardens in Sotira, Cyprus.

Getting around

Being in a Cypriot village we do strongly recommend a hire car, something of which we can help with through Jillian our agent, although this is not crucial of course if you just wish to relax in and around the local village of Sotira.

Interaction with guest

Even though we as owners will not be available directly in Cyprus, we do have a local property management agent 'Jillian' who is absolutely wonderful and will help with almost anything, whether it be a problem at the apartment/complex or just finding out where something is locally.....a great person to have around.

We will not allow bookings of single gender parties or groups of younger aged persons. If you are unsure of your status please ensure that you check with us before booking.

The apartment can accomodate up to 6 persons however we would recommend for the comfort of all guests that the apartment be used for approximately 4 to 5 persons.

“Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment.”

We had a great 2 week hoilday, very home from home the outdoor space was amazing my 15mth old loved playing out there. The owners and the agents was easy to get hold of. You would differently need a car to get around.The best beach is about a 15-20 mins drive. The instrections to get there would have been good in daylight but you cant see the church or the tennis courts in the dark.make sure you tie bags/ ribbons to the balcony as its an open space and the birds do like to sit on the railings and havd a poo. We used bags and that stopped them Thank you for letting us use your family hoilday home. Jenni and family

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Michelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
