It is very clean and well decorated and has beautiful bedrooms with dressers/chests. The apartment has closets, a full bathroom with a tub, a dining table, refrigerator, full size stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, and ENTIRELY EQUIPPED kitchens with pots, pans, plates, glasses and more, but of course, you may preferred to eat out, after all you are on vacation!

FREE FERRY RIDE:

ONLY A SHORT 10-15 MINUTE WALK TO THE FERRY, WHICH TAKES AN APPROXIMATELY 20-25 MINS AN EASY RELAXING RIDE INTO LOWER MANHATTAN. WHILE RIDING THE FERRY, YOU ARE ENJOYING BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, ELLIS ISLAND, AND THE VIEW OF MANHATTAN SKYLINE. THE 9/11 WORLD TRADE CENTER IS WALKING DISTANCE OR A TRAIN RIDE AWAY AFTER ARRIVING IN LOWER MANHATTAN. THE FERRY, WHICH IS FREE OF CHARGE, RUNS 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS PER WEEK.

Getting Around:

Get your camera ready! Only a 5 minute ride to the FREE Ferry that gives you up close shots of the Statue of Liberty (5 minute free transfer bus ride, which you can secure right outside the house), gets you into lower Manhattan in 20 minutes. Or you have the option of Express Bus (X13, 14, & 16) into downtown. The ferry runs every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; after midnight it runs every hour. Bus service is right outside the front door, and close to above-ground train station. If you prefer to drive, the apartment is located approximately 1.5 miles from the Verrazano Bridge into Bay Ridge, Brooklyn OR approximately 7.5 miles from the Goethals, Outerbridge and Bayonne Bridge into New Jersey.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Carmen (the owner) a message.

If Carmen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
