GSG Inn is a unique, totally private Victorian 1 br inn in a converted art gallery at the end of a private cultural De sac street in historic St. George, Staten Island. A newly installed kitchen with mahogany counters and massive granite sink grace the main room, please note that there is no onsite stove or oven in the kitchen at GSG Inn. and a magnificent private bedroom with 12 foot ceilings and ornate plaster ceiling and terrace cotta fireplace and brand new trundle bed with state of the art gel foam mattresses allows sleeping for three. State of the art Sony 4K UHD TV with Amazon Alexa and Amazon Fire TV with 4K movies. GSG Inn has art everywhere including furniture and paintings by Jamie Brant and the sculptures of international artist George Pissarro, great grandson of Camille Pissarro. A tile bath with claw foot tub and chlorine free filtered shower. The main room is filled with light from a 2/3 acre Victorian sculpture garden featuring the stone, marble and wooden sculptures of world famous artist George Pissarro. A private wrap around porch where you can have your morning coffee and enjoy the piece of this special hideaway 10 minutes walk to the Staten Island Ferry and Manhattan.

With his artist wife Jamie, the couple opened the first art gallery in the community in 2008. As busy artists, the Brants will be on site to fulfill all your needs as guests at GSG Inn.

House rules

1) GSG Inn supplies free house slippers for all of our guests, when you enter the Inn, please remove your street shoes and if you like, use your free slippers or just go barefoot!
2) The kitchen sink is granite, and easily stains. Please do not leave dishes, glasses or silverware in the sink or it will leave a hard water stain. No need to dry the sink! It seems to get stained by objects being on its surface. Thanks for your help with this issue!
3) GSG Inn is a smoke-free environment.

Why can't I call Gary (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gary (the owner) a message.

If Gary (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
