Hello there! Thank you for stopping by. The City of New York, often called Big Apple consists of five boroughs:Staten Island, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and The Bronx. Property is located in Staten Island borough, in historic St. George, that is also home to the Staten Island Yankees

About the house:

You'll have the full privacy of 1800 square foot house. The space is full of light, with beautiful original woodwork throughout the house. The first floor contains of kitchen, dining room and living room. The house is in Victorian style and over 100 years old, so it provides a unique atmosphere. Kitchen is newly renovated and fully stocked. You will find silverware, pots and pans. Parking garage is available upon request. If you need more parking spots, street parking is easy and safe.

I want everyone to have the best time imaginable. I believe in kindness, cooperation and collaboration - you should never hesitate to reach out to me.

After exploring the city, return to St. George's great restaurants and bars, playgrounds, parks, and museums. The house is 10 minutes away from an active commercial district. You'll stay in a diverse and historic district with many cultural attractions. This is a great walking neighborhood. All the necessities are within easy walking distance. There are two major grocery stores, a laundromat, and at least two drugstores within a couple of blocks. A highly recomended Children's Museum and a Staten Island Zoo are within a 15-minute bus ride. The first buildings landmarked by NYC are 10 minutes away at Snug Harbor, which has the largest collection of Greek Revival architecture in the country. Staten Island is a terminal moraine, so there are some interesting geological formations and great hiking close by. If you're here during Spring, than you should check dates for the High Rock Challenge, NYC's is the host to the longest running obstacle race, beginning of May we are hosting the Five Boro Bike Tour. In early fall, Staten Island is the best place to stay, if you are taking part in the New York City Marathon. Staten Island has an easy access to not only Manhattan and other boroughs, but also to Newark Airport and Garden State Shopping Mall, that is famous for it’s bargains.

Manhattan access: It is very easy to get around our neighborhood. My house is located in historic district of St. George, only a 10-15-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride from the free 25-minute ferry ride to Manhattan. The walk to the ferry is easy and enjoyable. You can order Uber, that costs $5-6. A cab from the ferry address to the house costs $5. Ferries travel every 30 minutes during regular hours and every 15 minutes during rush hours. Ferries are passing by the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Governor's Island, so you will have an excellent photo opportunity - I highly recommend it. The Manhattan ferry terminal offers immediate access to subways and buses going anywhere in New York City. Please remember, that New York City is a city known for its massive size and commuting will take you a long time no matter where you are going to stay, so please plan accordingly and allow extra time for the commute.

Parties are not allowed. Moving furnitures is not allowed. Dishwasher and fridge must be left empty, otherwise there will be a $50 charge Tampering with smoke detectors (removing it) is a violation of terms and you will be asked to leave with no refund.
