Nestled on the shores of quiet Lookabout Bay (Lake Huron, Ontario), our 4 luxurious waterfront cottage rentals present the best the Bruce Peninsula has to offer. Each cottage has access to a shared 2,400 square foot dock with a hot tub, 2 large gas barbeques, and family sized dining areas. A large floating dock is also available suitable for mooring a boat. Enjoy roasting marshmallows around the comfortable sand firepit with your family. Firewood, kayaks, hammocks and Adirondack chairs are provided for use by our guests.

True to its name, The Gardens is situated amongst our lovely gardens and green space, a perfect play area for the family. Set slightly back from the other cottages, this 650 sq foot cottage is the ideal family vacation retreat. The Gardens accommodates 5 guests, with a full bath, a spacious master bedroom, equipped with a king size bed and its own additional plasma TV with satellite and blu-ray system. From the master, walk out to your own private deck with dedicated barbeque and enjoy the view of the lake. The second bedroom sleeps 2 adults and 1 child,, with twin bunks + single bed. The Gardens also enjoys a fully equipped kitchen, plasma TV with satellite, wireless internet, Blu-ray, and iPod docking station. Create those memorable moments of family fun in the hot tub or paddling the kayaks, canoe or paddle boat, on the Bay. Hot dogs and smores are always a treat roasted over our open sand fire pit.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Michelle (the owner) a message.

If Michelle (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
