WELCOME TO YOUR OWN LUXURY MOUNTAIN LODGE - The MORRISEY CHALET AT SUN PEAKS

Vacation in style: Our luxurious SKI IN stand-alone private chalet is located at the base of Mt. Morrisey! Our chalet is adjacent to the 4th hole fairway of the Sun Peaks golf course and is set in a quiet and very private location for your vacation enjoyment.

Our private yet convienient location: We are located on Mountain View Dr., in Mountain View Estates, one of the newer subdivisions in Sun Peaks and Morrisey Chalet is within walking distance of the village, day lodge, pro shop and Valley Trail.

Large enough for two to three families: Our chalet sleeps 15 people and Morrisey Chalet is the perfect size for 2-3 families who want to enjoy a great vacation in a private mountain location, yet still close to the village of Sun Peaks.

Downstairs getaway family room: Kids love our getaway downstairs rec and family room and the fact that they can sled right in the back yard or across the street on Mt. Morrisey (we have sleds available).

Our layout for the Morrisey Chalet: The chalet features an upstairs queen bedroom with a huge walk-in closet & a private ensuite with slate shower. All the living & entertaining takes place on the main floor that features the kitchen, dining room, 2 queen bedrooms, bathroom, & the spectacular great room. Each bathroom has heated floor tiles. The lower level family room has its own bathroom, flatscreen TV area, family & rec room with two double sofa beds & a get-away bedroom with two double bunks (for up to four people).

- Huge rock fireplace: Spectacular floor to ceiling rock fireplace - kick your feet up in front of the fire after a great day on the slopes.

- Well outfitted kitchen: Granite countertop in kitchen with black appliances, esspresso cabinets, and all the kitchen utensils you will need for your vacation.

- Use of tile and slate: Extensive use of tile and slate throughout the chalet.

- Beautiful master bedroom: Private upper master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and large walk-in closet.

- Perfect for families: The master bedroom is perfect for a couple with a baby or young child (including a moveable todler play pen).

- Flatscreen TVs: 2 flatscreen TV's (lower family rec room and living area) & DVD players x 2 and includes ample selection of DVDs.

- Music system: Stereo system for CD's with large (and diverse) collection of CD's to choose from.

- Cozy bedrooms: Well appointed bedrooms with warm duvets, closets, and dressers for your belongings.

- Private deck with great views: A expansive and private back deck for your relaxing and viewing enjoyment, adjacent to the Sun Peaks golf course and provides views of the ski slopes and mountains up and down the valley.

- PET FRIENDLY: We are a pet friendly chalet and have a fee of $25/night per pet with a minimum of $90. Please ask about this.

- Internet and cable TV: Wirelss internet, cable TV and phone for local calls.

- BBQ on the deck: Gas BBQ located on the back deck where you can watch skiers descend as you grill.

- Private parking: Ample parking for up to 3-5 cars.

- Laundry facilities: Private laundry facilities with a stacked washer & dryer.

- Private hot tub: Very private 6 person hot tub which is kept cozy undercover and overlooks the forest.

- Sports equipment storage: Ample storage for skis and boards.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Harold and Kathy (the owner) a message.

If Harold and Kathy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
