“Great Holiday home”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2017

Thank you for an amazing time in Taormina, there was everything you needed for a holiday and more. Great Location, Looking forward to returning next year. :) 5 Star all the way !!!!

“Sicily”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2017

From booking Casa Ella last year we knew this was going to be a memorable family holiday. Everything that the owner, Chris, told us was exactly what we experienced and more! Casa Ella is home from home with everything to hand to suit all needs. The house is very clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed dining at Melia 2 doors down and visited the bakery daily for fresh bread and croissants. We treated ourselves to breakfast at Bam Bar, opposite, on the last day! Taormina itself is a bustling town with lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. We ate out in a couple of other places...Tiramisu fir delicioys pizzas and at Al Sarenca..up the mountain...no good if you don't like a good walk with around 500 steps! The meal and the view were worth the exhaustion! We visited Isola Bella beach a couple of times which was picturesque but very busy and an experience of using the cable car. We then found Il Pirate just along from Naxos which was quieter and much bigger. Isabella the property manager was very helpful throughout our stay, keeping in touch through text and giving us great tips...especially with parkng! Driving is not for the faint hearted...but then again..no different to anywhere else in Italy! We drove out to Arcantara Gorge and a couple of mountain villages. We enjoyed Savoca as we are Godfather fans and enjoyed a granita in the Bar Vitilli made famous from the second film. This holiday was one of our best yet and would highly recommend Casa Ella as a fantastic base for visiting this southern part of Sicily!

“Wonderful location made even more perfect by this fantastic town house.”

The location of this lovely town house is just what you want for a relaxing holiday while still being in the heart of Taormina. It was great to start and end the day on the roof terrace, perfect for planning the next day's trip. All the arrangements went smoothly, from airport transfers to beach club trips. Would love to return. SallyAnn

“A Fabulous Stay in Taormina”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2016

This is the second time I have stayed in Casa Ella and it was yet again fabulous. The 2 Bedroomed house is modern, clean and spacious with the added benefit of a roof terrace which was great for sun bathing. The house has everything that you need and is very comfortable. Casa Ella is in a great location, bang in the centre near numerous shops and restaurants. There is even a bakery next door. We arranged our taxi transfers with the owners who sent salvatore to collect us and he was brilliant, took us to the apartment where we were greeted with the keys and a tour of the house. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a stay in central Taormina. It is so beautiful and I hope to visit again for a third time in the future. Thank you Chris Jackson for a wonderful holiday and your kind hospitality. Sonja

“Amazing house”

Wonderful traditional house with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location for shopping, sightseeing, restaurants with deli and bakery literally outside the front door! Wonderful town and superb house.

“Lovely home, well appointed, well located!”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2012

We have just returned from spending one week at Casa Ella in Taormina and we cannot say enough good things about it. The home is beautifully appointed, with everything that you could need for a comfortable, "luxe" stay! We were two couples and enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and two full baths. Above all, the rooftop terrace is marvelous! We dined up there most nights, enjoying the starlit sky and the second kitchen and grill. The home is located near everything you could need and is still quiet at night. Both couples agreed it was our best "vacation" rental!

“Gorgeous Accommodation in a Great Location”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2012

When we arrived at Casa Ella, we were very pleased with the accommodation. All the rooms were very modern and clean. The sun terrace was fantastic and the air conditioning was very pleasant after a long day out in the sun. I would definately recommend this house to anyone - it is fantastic. It is just round the corner from corso umberto so in a great location but still peaceful. If we vist Taormina again, we would definately stay at Casa Ella again.

“we loved it”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2011

Casa Ella is the ideal place to stay in Taormina. It is perfectly located, tastefully furnished and decorated, and all the amenities work !

“So good we want to keep it to ourselves!!”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2011

But in the generous spirit shown by other reviewers we feel obliged to comment! Everything already said by other reviewers is a true and accurate account of what you will find if you stay in Casa Ella. We absolutely loved everything about it. The location, the town itself and all the amenities close at hand and the house are all just perfect. We had to force ourselves to sample other areas as everything you could want for a relaxing, fine dinning experience is right on the door step of Casa Ella (Raymond, Paula and Magda at the restaurant next door were wonderful). We loved it all and would sincerely like to return some time to Taormina and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else than at Casa Ella.

“Casa Ella is the perfect place to stay in Taormina, we felt at home immediately.”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2011

We stayed at Casa Ella which is in the heart of Taormina. The house is absolutely perfect, we felt at home immediately. It has everything you need, is wonderfully equipped and maintained, and in an ideal location Chris the owner was so helpful in helping us plan our trip, and kept in contact during our stay. he could not have been more helpful. In the immediate area is a wonderful delicatessen with a good selection of wines and beers, a bakers for morning pastries ( they also do wonderful fresh pasta), the best restaurant run by Raymondo, and a cafe that does great breakfasts and has free WiFi. It was easy to walk around town, everything we needed was there. The cable car to the beach was only a few minutes away. Parking was tricky, we used the small multi story by the cable car, and found putting in 48 hours at a time was the cheapest option. It was only a five minute hilly walk, and much easier than waiting for the Lumbi buses. Mount Etna was very obliging and erupted during our stay, and the hiking paths around the volcano were fantastic. We have fallen in love with Sicily, and would love to return to Casa Ella, it really is a fantastic place to stay.
