Description

This exclusive apartment recently restored, is situated in the heart of Taormina, in fact the private balcony leans on the main pedestrian street, "Corso Umberto". This central position allows the hosts to reach by foot and in a few minutes, all the turistic actractions of this beautiful place.

The apartment is 72 mq and equipped with all conforts, refinedly furnished, it meets the requirements of the most exacting custmers.

We love meeting and hosting new people from all over the world and would love to share our favourite dining/relaxing/clubbing spots with future guests.
We also organize private cooking lessons in a beautiful private villa here in Taormina with a well known chef named Carmelo "u Boss". You have then the opportunity to eat what you have prepared at the Villa.
10 minutes walk from the apartment you also find the cableway station - the “Funivia” leading down to the sea, directly to the splendid Bay of Mazzarò and all the other beaches such as“Isola Bella” where you can spend wonderful days under Mediterranean sun.

We can also organize a day trip to the vulcan Etna with a private guide.

The apartment is located in the heart of Taormina. From here you can reach everything in a few minutes: Bar/restaurant/shops/ the main turistic attractions/the cableway station that brings you directly to the beach.

If you are renting a car here in Taormina, please notice that I do not have a parking. It is not possible to park a car in Taormina if you are not a resident, for that reason you have to park it at Taormina's main parking wich is: porta Catania. It is only 5 min walk from the apartment and the prices are ok. the one week ticket costs 50,00 Euros.

We stayed for 11n. Great apartment and host. The apartment was ok size, nice, clean and fully up to date with all we needed.

We had a really wonderful time in Taormina I can't recommend it enough, Anita was there to meet us on arrival and show us her beautiful apartment it has a lovely little balcony and is right in the middle of Corsa Umberta the main street in Taormina, it couldn't be placed any better. We had many happy evenings sitting (you can just get two chairs side by side in the balcony doorway, it's a bit snug but my wife and I get on quite well so it was ok) there watching the world go by while sipping wine, the first bottle of which was a gift on arrival from Anita. Anita explained everything we needed to know and then left us to it although was always available if we did need her for anything. The apartment has everything you need if you did decide to cook and stay in and we were given plenty of advice on where to eat if we went out. We will definitely be going back to Taormina and sincerely hope that Anita's apartment is available when we do.

The apartment is so beautiful with all his pictures on the walls, and ceramic objects created by the owners themselves. It is also equipped with everything you need. It is located on the main street Corso Umberto; the view from the balcony is just fabulous. Anita is an excellent host, she’s so nice being always ready to help you in case you need an advise.

We stayed here on the run up to our wedding in Taormina. It was perfect, really clean, spacious and with everything you could need. It's quite difficult to find a cool, contemporary looking flat in Taormina but this apartment is spot on and has been well looked after and modernised.

This is a beautiful, recently refurbished, well kept, well equipped, and clean apartment. It is right on Coso Umberto and there is always activity right outside the window. The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I. Anita, the owner has a shop right next door to the apartment and she's always available for questions you have or needs that may arive. She arranged a taxi driver to pick us up at the airport, made New Year's Eve dinner reservations for us, and always had great suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. This was our first visit to Sicily and we fell in love with the country! Taormina is beautiful, has many places to visit, and has the best seafood I have ever had. We went in January and spent New Years Eve there. The weather was nice (high 50'sF) and since this was a holiday period for Italy, all the shops were open and there was lots of activity.

The owner of the apartment, Anita, was very helpful and her self contained apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer (washing powder supplied), which was very handy as we had come from a stay in Malta and then we travelled to the Amalfi Coast, Italy. It was great to be able to catch up with our washing. The apartment is situated in a little side lane right in the middle of the Old Town, literally with restaurants and bars at our doorstep. We thought it might be noisy here, but we had no such trouble. The kitchen was well stocked with tasteful amenities and utensils. If you wanted to cook (which we didn't) you would have everything you need. Highly recommended.

Apartment location could not have been better on the Corso Umberto. The apartment itself is very charming, good spaces, comfortable, has all the amenities to make it a home away from home. Anita, the owner and host was very welcoming and helpful. We followed all of her recommendations for the local restaurants and beaches and were not disappointed. Infact, to several we went more than once.
