The holiday house "Casa da Amoreira" is off the beaten track in the Algarve Sotavento, quiet country cottage, just a few miles from the fantastic beaches from Santa Luzia to Manta Rota. Near the town of Tavira, the Venice of the Algarve, and the Natural Reserve Ria Formosa, it mainly provides space for leisure travellers who who want to know the still original Algarve. It offers 124 m² of living space enough room for 5/6 persons, living room, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom, and WC. The outdoor area features a beautiful large terrace with garden furniture, garden (ideal for playing children ) Garden furniture and a barbecue. Wi-FI available for free.

The house is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and orange orchards.

Family vacation perfect. It is only 4km to sea, you drive 10 minutes to the nearest beach called "Praia Barril" in Santa Luzia .

In the neighbouring village of "Luz de Tavira" , 1 km from the house, there are small market halls, grocery stores, bank and post office, pharmacy and much more.

The idyllic town of Tavira is 10 minutes drive away, and the lively harbour town of Olhão (the best fish market in the area) is 20 minutes away by car .

Santa Luzia - 4 km

A fishing village (squid fishing) . From here you can translate by boat to the resort island . In the village there are many fine seafood restaurants.

Pedras d' El Rei

From here you can take a mini-train to the island of Praia do Barril . Alternatively, you can also reach by foot along the rails to the beach.

East of Luz de Tavira - 1 km

Tavira - 6 km

Historic old town with Roman Bridge from the 17th Century over the Rio Gilão . Many alleys, leading to the hilltop town with castle ruins and the Church of Santa Maria do Castelo with the eye-catching clock tower .

At the Rio Gilão the old market hall with catering and shops invites you to linger . - A boat takes bathers on the island "Ilha de Tavira"

Olhão - 14 km

Fisher Town with market with best fish of Algarve. Mostly artisanal fishing products.

How do damage deposits work?
