Description

My home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Teaneck, New Jersey, just 4 miles from Manhattan. New Jersey's largest private university- Fairleigh Dickinson University- is just a 5 minute walk away.

The home is a 4 bedroom cape with 2 bedrooms on main floor for me and my daughter, and the entire 2nd floor is for guests. Upstairs there is a full bath that was just fully renovated and updated to include shower, marble tile floor exclusively for guests. The main floor bathroom is for the host only.

Guests have free access to WIFI. A mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker are inside each room. Also bed sheets, blankets, towels, soap, iron, are all provided for guests. CABLE TV IS IN THE ROOM.

The location is just 4 miles from the George Washington Bridge to NYC and is newly updated, with good lighting and A/C and heater.

There is plenty of free on-street parking around the clock. Here is how it works: All day/night on WEEKENDS, and HOLIDAYS you can park directly in front of my house without getting a parking ticket. All other times (meaning, Monday to Friday) you park freely on the adjacent streets around the corner. There's street-cleaning 10a-12noon Monday to Friday. If you are home 10-12 noon Monday to Friday, you can park in my driveway during the 2 hour street cleaning.

Getting around

Option 1) BUS 175 GOES OVER the GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE for its last stop at the Bus terminal there. The trip is 30 minutes. THEN YOU WALK 5 MINUTES TO THE #1 SUBWAY TO GO DOWNTOWN. Option 2) The BUS NUMBER 168 goes into Port Authority, Manhattan. That trip takes 45 minutes or up to 1 hour. Each bus stop is located 2 blocks from my home.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If NERISA (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
