Vacation at Ontario's beautiful Bruce Peninsula and make your home-away-from-home The Sailor's Perch overlooking quaint and picturesque downtown Tobermory.

The Sailor's Perch enjoys a vantage point from the highest “Perch” in town so you'll be sure to keep an eye on the interesting activities going on around you.

Recently renovated from top to bottom and brimming with cottage country charm, the Sailor's Perch offers an open concept double living room, kitchen, four (4) bedrooms, and two (2) three piece bathrooms (shower, sink and toilet).

The four (4) private bedrooms (3 queens and 1 single over single bunk bed) are private, quiet, and relaxing. Two pullout couches, one in each living room, round out the comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 12 guests.

The galley-style kitchen has all the amenities that any great cook might need (fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, all dishes, pots, pans, and flatware). A kitchen table seating eight plus TV tables for four complete the food preparation and indoor eating area layout.

You won't feel crowded in The Sailor's Perch as two separate living rooms--one at a lower level and the other just a few steps above—give you the space you need yet keep you close enough to enjoy each other's company. Each living area boasts its own cozy, working gas fireplace, roomy couches, and charming chairs. You'll also find a flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, and complimentary Wi-Fi to keep you entertained and connected.

The home's best features are the numerous big windows that flood the rooms with natural light and allow you to keep an eye on the action outside. You're going to love the immediate outside area with its large lawn and intimate courtyard which afford you both great views for people watching on the street nearby, and also peace and quiet to enjoy the sheltered porch, private decks, barbecue, patio furniture, and fire pit. Ample on-site parking is an added bonus!

You're close to the Chi-Cheemaun car ferry here so you can see her close by when she's at dock. That's right – you're just steps from the ferry, Flowerpot Island tour boats, quaint shops, and all the action in Tobermory's Little Tub harbour when you're a guest at The Sailor's Perch.

You're also in the prime location to access all the great local restaurants, swimming in Little Tub harbour at the “Tugs”, the “Gap”, and Big Tub lighthouse. Bruce Peninsula National Park Visitor Centre is a leisurely stroll around the harbour and along the forest trails.

Tobermory has so much to offer the adventurous; spectacular scenery, the Chi-Cheemaun ferry, Flowerpot Island shipwreck cruises, National Park guided tours and interpretation centre, scuba diving, swimming in the clear and refreshing waters, kayaking, hiking, quaint shops including excellent local art galleries, golf and mini-putt, great restaurants (Want to try some fantastic food while staying with us? Check out The Leeside Restaurant just down the road or Molinaris pasta house just across the harbour! You will be happy you did!)

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Brenna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
