Description

Nestled on a private acre of coastal forest across from Cox Bay beach, this large artisan built home caters to couples, families & groups. The house features an open living room, dining room & kitchen, outdoor BBQ grill on a covered porch with wrap around decks, and herb, vegetable & flower gardens. There is a large covered carport and an outdoor firepit in the garden. The kitchen is well-equipped, with extra sink & cupboards in the back room, adjacent to the kitchen.

This spacious 1500 sq.ft home has two bedrooms with two full-sized bathrooms and an upstairs sitting room that holds a queen size bed and a single bed. The large master bedroom is 15'x 15' with a round window that overlooks the forest canopy. The master bath features a 6 foot soaker bathtub and separate shower unit, while the second bath features a 48" shower with a seat. The second bedroom is 10' x 12' with a beautiful forest view from the second storey.

Ideally nestled between Tofino's best surf and sand of Cox Bay and Chesterman Beach, Clayoquot Cedar House is located on Tofino's paved multiple-use path for people, dogs and bicycles. This is a neighborhood of surf, exceptional restaurants and beach bars, paved trails that lead to the nearby beaches (across the road), Visitors Centre (2 blocks), bird sanctuary (next door), shops and the village of Tofino.

Cox Bay beach access is a 10 minute walk, or you can drive to the public parking lot; south Chesterman Beach is one kilometre via walkway, bicycle or car.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Dryden (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
