This Bright and cozy, newly renovated apt. with all the amenities of home incl. a gorgeous in ground pool is suitable for 1 or 2 adult guests. It is nestled in a beautiful, mature, quiet, and safe neighbourhood, and is minutes from public transit.

The Space

This beautiful one bedroom apartment has all the comforts and amenities of home. The apartment is suitable for 1 or 2 adult guests. The apartment is the lower level (yes, basement) of our home however, once inside, you would think you were living on the main floor of a large, beautifully renovated home.

The apartment is large yet cozy and is very bright with a window in every room to maximize natural sunlight. The apartment has been designed with a full length hallway separating the bedroom and washroom from the rest of the living areas to ensure privacy and comfort.

The apartment is professionally finished with high colonial baseboards and trim work throughout. The kitchen, washroom, and foyer floors are porcelain tiles while the balance of the apartment floors are finished with a padded, floating, click floor system for added under foot comfort. Walls and ceilings are painted drywall throughout with dimmable LED lighting in the living/dining areas

The bedroom is spacious, nicely decorated and has a very,very comfortable double size bed, two dressers, two night tables with lamps, wall mirror, and a TV with an HDMI cable. The bedroom also has a full size closet with coat rack and additional storage space.

There are two additional full size closets with coat racks, one at the end of the hallway and the other at the entrance of the apartment.

The four piece washroom boasts a beautiful soaker tub and is brightly lit and ventilated for optimum comfort and functionality.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and full compliment of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. If there is something additional you need and it is not there, then just give us a shout and we will do our best to accommodate.

The living/dining room is very large with dimmable lighting and has several couches with end tables, coffee table, and lamps. There is also a round dining table and chairs. The TV is a 38" LED HD Screen with an HDMI cable and internet WiFi access.

Our guests would utilize the side door entrance of the house. Guests will reach a brightly lit foyer with the apartment entrance to their left of the foyer. Guest have access to half our double car width driveway at no additional charge.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to our yard space, in ground pool, covered patio, and barbecue. These amenities are shared with our guests in our Studio Flat and ourselves. No matter what the weather, the covered patio allows you to barbecue and dine at all times. The patio has dimmable lighting allowing you to enjoy a late night dinner or swim.

Interaction with Guests

We are usually available should anything arise which requires our assistance. We live on the upper level of the house. We want our guests to feel at home and we encourage our guests to let us know if there is anything we can assist with to help make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

The Neighbourhood

Our home is located in a mature, quiet, and safe neighborhood. For those who are nature lovers, you can hike the Doris McCarthy Trail down the Scarborough Bluffs to the shoreline of Lake Ontario. The trail is a five minute walk from our house.

Within a few minutes drive is Bluffers Park complete with marinas, sand beaches, barbecue areas, and spectacular views of the Scarborough Bluffs.

Getting around

Public transportation is all within walking distance from the apartment. Close by bus stops can take you to the subway station or you can walk directly to the Go Transit system which provides access to all points of Toronto and beyond.

We would like our guests to feel at home and feel free to utilize our pool, patio, and yard space. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable please feel free to ask at any time and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

The Apartmennt has a maximum two guest limit at all times.

- our entire property is a smoke free property and the smoking of any product whatsoever is not permitted.

- pets of any kind are not permitted

- Absolutely no diving permitted as the pool is shallow
- glass ware is not permitted on the concrete pool deck

We request noise levels be kept to a minimum before 7 a.m and after 10 p.m.

We stayed 5nights, but wished we had longer, We are from England, and wanted to visit my husbands, mother, place of birth, Her house is now a museum at todmorden mills, Toronto. We was then going onto our son in Virginia usa. We tried to see all the sights, but did manage to use the pool one day. The apartment was an excellent find, very clean, and the owners were especially, very kind and helpful. The gardens were lovely to sit , and swim in. We would very much like to return one day. Thankyou
