This might just be exactly what you have been looking for...

Welcome to our Scandinavian-style house, conveniently located in the heart of trendy Queen St West: only steps away from parks, shops, entertainment, the best cafes in town, major attractions, the Lakeshore, spas, hospitals, and the financial district.

HOUSE: Just call it your home. Find everything that you need for a short or longer stay.

The house has 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Each of them includes an individual closet. Front master bedroom is on a sunrise side (sun blackout curtains are on for those who wants to sleep in). At night, enjoy the lights of the city and the view of the CN Tower right from your bed. The middle room is modeled as a children's room and - here is where kids squeal with delight - has a built-in bunk bed. The crib is also available for a child under 8 years old. If you are traveling with kids, help yourself to all the baby essentials, toys, etc. The third bedroom is smaller in size and has a queen-size luxury foldout sofa-bed. The room is overlooking the backyard.

The bathroom on the second floor has a walk-in rain shower and is child hot water proof. The second bathroom, Washer & Dryer are in the basement. If you want to treat yourself to an at-home spa experience, soak in the vintage claw foot tub on the lower floor.

Open concept main floor combines dining area, living room and stylish kitchen with a breakfast bar. Living room has a 47-inch flat screen TV, surround sound system through the house (Don't miss when Crosby scores a goal even in the washroom!), blue-ray DVD player, XBox 360, Kinect, vinyl record player, an extensive music collection both on vinyl and CDs. You are welcome to enjoy them.

Netflix is available through Xbox.

The dining area has a big table that easily seats 6-8 people. Great for a hearty family dinner or a games' night. (Choose from a big variety of board games on the shelf next to the table)

The kitchen is where things happen in this house! Enjoy modern appliances (gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, stovetop kettle, blender, etc) and lots of space to cook. A few things you won’t find elsewhere: professional espresso machine, manual juice-maker, gas BBQ grill on the backyard.

Backyard is a sunny privately enclosed space for you to relax and unwind. BBQ, sun tan, take a shower! (outside hot/cold water shower),gaze at the stars at night to the crackling of the fire... For those travelling with kids, it is safe to leave them there to play while you are making dinner, as it is walled off from other properties and there is no back exit.

ECO-FRIENDLY: Cleaning products, detergent are made from natural ingredients. For the same reason there is no A/C in the house, however every room has a ceiling fan.

PARKING: Street parking is available upon request.

TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM AIRPORT: Taxi-Service from/to Pearson Airport is $65 plus tip.

NEIGHBOURHOOD: Everything is within walking distance, yet streetcars and buses run in all directions. The widest range of boutique restaurants are only steps away. Satisfy your taste buds and discover new flavours at Indian, Middle Eastern, Southern Italian, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, French, Philippine, or Mexican kitchens. Most, if not all, offer take-out. Need to grab a quick bite? Burger and sandwich places, ice cream parlours, exquisite pastry shops, and bakeries are dotted all over the neighbourhood and all within a 5-minute walk. Lots of brunch options, too. Coffee shops are at every corner. If you are into cooking, famous Kensington market offers a huge range of local produce, meat, poultry, fish and dairy products. Check out their Global Cheese shop – sample the variety and don’t leave empty-handed. Chinatown is also within 15 minutes from the place. Loblaws and Shoppers are only a 5-minte walk away.

CN Tower, ACC, Rogers Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, Art Gallery, ROM, Scotiabank movie theatre, Body Blitz Spa, Eaton Centre, Bowling alley, are all within walking distance.

Harbourfront, Casa Loma, Go-Karts, Sailing clubs are all accessible by public transit and within a short ride away.

Trinity-Bellwoods park is a block west from the house. It’s a vibrant family-friendly place to have a picnic, go for a run or just to wander around. It has a community centre that offers a bunch of drop-in programs, including tot & adult pools.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Darya (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
