Description

This raised ranch bungalow is situated 20 miles west of Toronto with close access to highways and the countryside. It is suited for families.

In summer it's a great location to relax in your private heated pool after your many activities (the pool is open from May-Oct 1.) The gate in the backyard takes you to a secluded park for playing ball and frisbee with family and friends. The trampoline is available for those who need more exercise.

Shopping is across the street. Milton bus takes you to rail service and GO bus into Toronto at the end of the street. A car is a must to see everything. The surrounding countryside has quaint villages where local Mennonites sell their quilts; the Lion Safari that is famous for its interactive drive through it's park, 10 minutes away. North of Mohawk Raceway with gambling games, is a Railway Museum. Each Saturday there is the local market (open from May-Oct) on a closed main street that is a 10 minute walk.

Eight minutes to the velodrome.

Conservation Halton has several parks (pass provided); Ten minutes from the house is Hilton Falls where you can feed the birds from your hand, roast wieners/sausages on the fire and rent cross country equipment to ski the trails.

Kelso has climbing apparatus, beach, boat rentals and walking trails.

Mountsberg has a birds of prey show and a play barn for the children.

Crawford Lake has several native indian longhouse. the lake has a boardwalk around it plus many trails out to the lookout overlooking the valley.

Rattlesnake Point has many trails on the top of the escarpment.

There is horse racing and gambling at Mohawk Raceway and Casino; horseback riding in local forests. The famous Bruce Trail runs through the nearby escarpment. Fishing in the local waterways. There are 6 golf courses surrounding the town. The Town of Milton has indoor ice skating year round so bring your skates. Within an hours drive are Niagara Falls and the forts and shops of quaint Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Spectrum Airways is a 10 min drive to where you can arrange for air tours around the local area, Niagara Falls and orbit the CN Tower.

The Ranch has horseback riding tours in the local countryside for those 10 yrs. and older. Pony rides for those under 10 yrs.

There is a washer and dryer on the main floor in the washroom for guests convenience, PLUS another washer and dryer on the lower level.

The trampoline is available all year round.

During winter Glen Eden provides ski/snowboard instruction with rentals available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Cynthia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
