Description from owner

Description

We welcome you to Bluebell Cottage which is a spacious bespoke timber cottage suitable for 2 people.

Situated in the small township of Torrin, it affords the discerning visitor complete peace and quiet, set in spectacular surroundings.

You enter into a spacious open plan living room, with kitchen and dining area and a cozy corner for relaxing.

The bedroom contains a king size bed which can be separated into two singles, a wardrobe and dressing table. Please advise on booking if you prefer the king size bed or 2 singles.

More storage space is in the hall cupboard.

It has been decorated to a high standard with an eclectic mix of furnishings, such as Mexican rugs, Welsh blankets, vintage crockery and furniture.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need, including cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and Italian coffee maker.

The waterfall shower in the bathroom has frequently been commented upon by our guests!

There is a constant supply of hot water, and heating is provided by Econoheat electric heaters.

The view from the large main window is stunning, taking in the township of Torrin and the Red Cuillin mountains.

A private south facing garden completes the property, a place to relax after coming back from your excursions if the weather permits.

There is no television, but Wi-fi is provided free of charge. We also provide a Wi-fi radio.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS, CATS OR ANY OTHER PETS.

Getting around

Most people come by car, although it is possible to get here by public transport. There are daily buses from Broadford except for Sundays.

Interaction with guest

We take our cue from our guests, as we realize that everyone is different. We usually meet our guests when they arrive, to give them the key, show them the property and explain how everything works. We live close by, so that if they need any help or advice we are there to help. Our aim is to give our guests superlative accommodation and a great holiday experience. Plus, there is a lot of information in the cottage about Skye and the surrounding area. There is also a house manual which we ask them to take a look at, especially if we are not here at the time of their arrival.
