Description

If you like dramatic views overlooking an impressive expanse of the Meditterranean coastline, then you will understand why we have this cottage high up on the hillsides of Tourrette Sur Loup. In the evening the breathtaking coast looks like a dotted necklace of lights. Only half rustic, it has a log-burning fireplace. A pizza oven doubles up as a barbecue and helps keep the place cozy. The medieval village of Tourrettes Sur Loup is easy to reach within a leisurely 7 minutes on foot.

The forest is just walk down the road, but should you feel the need for a drink outdoors, the pub at the bottom of the hill has telecast of sports much of the time. Jazz is played at the Relais D' Coche also on the same street as the brasserie. There is natural surroundings, the conveniences of towns, and yet very romantic as the Cotes D'Azur wraps you in its magic.

Should you need more urban conveniences, Vence is only 9 minutes by

car. While this is an affordable, self-catering cottage, you will be among the first to enjoy our newly renovated kitchen at the rear of the guesthouse.

We email a short Visitors Brief to cover every convenience such as how to obtain the key and purchase items with minimal search. Most of the guests have been to the South of France and know what activity they wish for and places they wish to explore. For those that have specific questions , our caretaker is close by and our property manager, Jeffrey, can field questions on specific needs. For holidaymaking questions, do feel free to contact me via email in advance. Generally , the South of France is visitor friendly and do assist most folks in a reasonable manner. There is a tourism or visitor center in the medieval village for special interests of visitors.

House rules

As there is a log fire and a pizza oven that can be enjoyed, as a courtesy to
the next guest, please clear the ashes in a plastic bin bag that can be easily disposed of. As it is a house with more than one entry, the shutters are ideal to close when there is a storm and when leaving the premises for securing the entries.
Leave the main gate open. This will be more convenient for you to drive in and out as there is a considerable slope to enter the property.

“Beautiful region”

Spacious accommodation, clean with all the kitchen utensils, towels bedding etc you would need. Plenty of outdoor space with comfortable seating. Lots of villages to visit and walks in this region, which filled our week. It was very nice to be able to visit the beautiful village of Tourrettes Sur Loup on foot where you will find restaurants and shops. Help and advise was given from the nearby caretakers. A very enjoyable break.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
