Description

Beautiful Log Home with breathtaking ocean views, gardens and tall cedar trees. A few minutes drive to access a full service gas station and convenience store, pub, as well as ferry service to nearby Islands. Why not take a day trip to world famous Hornby Island with its fabulous sandy beaches and artisan farmers’ market? Day trips to Mt Washington where the marmots call home. These little creatures are small in number and are only found here, on Vancouver Island.

Welcome to our well maintained and solid construction 3 level log home! We can accommodate 10 people comfortably and are pet friendly too. We offer our guests the unexpected extras such as bath salts if you choose to use the main floor full size soaker bath or relax in the upper level cast iron tub. We provide fresh coffee beans and cream with a surprise baked treat. Also featured is a complimentary Union Bay Guest House bottle of wine for your enjoyment.

We have Skis, Snowboard, Golfclubs, Bicycles that can be borrowed. For backyard fun we have Horseshoes, Bocce Ball, Badminton, bean bag toss, bubble maker and sand toys for the kids. 180 ocean views! Inside there is Access to Wifi, tv in 3 rooms, a gym with weights and punching bag in the basement. If you are renting the entire home, we are available by phone and text should you have any questions during your stay. We provide a tour of the home at check in when available. As a bed and breakfast guest, we have some common areas. Guests have a private bathroom and mini fridge. Drop Box for Key located in the basement upon departure.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Todd & Laurie (the owner) a message.

If Todd & Laurie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
