Hotel type accommodation, 1 Bedroom Micro-loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2 - Murphy Bed) 320 Square Feet, 32 Square Meters. Stay on the beautiful Victoria, Canada waterfront in a well-appointed apartment for less than the price of a hotel room. The historic late 18th-century Janion building has undergone a full renovation, completed in 2016. It is located near the corner of Pandora and Store Streets in the middle of Victoria’s thriving water front, old town and china town. The loft has all the modern conveniences and comforts with all the old school charm for which Victoria is known. As you enter the unit you will find a fully-stocked urban style kitchen on your right, that includes a dishwasher and fridge. In suite COOKING NOT PERMITTED, however BBQ and microwave available on the rooftop patio. The living room features the original raw brick walls and 7 foot window and Juliette balcony with views towards the Inner Harbor and mountains. The living room includes a dining area and a wall mounted television. There is a murphy bed with queen-size mattress and a built in wall unit closet of drawers and more. The bathroom features a spa glass shower. There is also a washer and dryer adjacent to the bathroom. The unit include cable television and wireless high-speed internet. The building is very secure with locked gate; accessibility is convenient to the units via an elevator. There is a pay parking lot next to the building, called Robbins Parking and the daily rate is $18.00 cdn, you can download the HONK app for easy payment or pay at the machine. All of the key features of Victoria are within walking distance of the unit or nearby public transit routes. You will feel at home in the Janion.

I have also purchased a new hair dryer as the prior guest may have packed it in error, my apologies as I should have doubled checked. I will also type up a check list to operate the dish washer and oven and have a nw seal strip applied to the bottom of the shower door, appreciate you pointing that out. This issue has definitely become a challenge for us, as a previous guest created a very difficult situation, that put housekeeping behind in terms of cleaning and a late check in for the next guests. I do agree with you that the Janion is a hotel type of accommodation and will update the TripAdvisor listing accordingly. I will also mention to the guests that they can remove pillows' and any other items for that matter and place them in the closet or wall unit. Again thank you for your review and I am happy to hear that you had a pleasant stay.

- How do damage deposits work?
In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Bohdan (the owner) a message.
If Bohdan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
