This Romantic getaway is a 5 minute walk to everything or a 3 minute drive to inner harbour. Newer home, 3 flat screen TVs & 4th at the hot tub. 5G internet, 5.1 sound system, cable, Blue Ray .commercial sized laundry off kitchen. All stainless steel gas appliances under sunlit skylights. Separate shower & jacuzzi tub . (Both for two) . 2 Br 1 Ba, 1,100 sf. Air conditioned. Monitored 24/7 by ADT .Enjoy your breakfasts in a private garden under a vine covered grape arbour. (You are the chef) or seat yourself in the sun at the covered outside bar in the secluded private lounging area with a private 2 person hot tub and sauna. Two fern shaded swings will convert to beds where you can spend your nights under the stars. . Very private unaccessible rear yard. (8-9 ft solid cedar fencing. All centred in a safe warehouse area right in town. ( one block off Douglas.) Street is one block long and you can sleep on it after 4:30 pm... in the middle of the city.! Very quiet. Sleep soundly (1500 denier sheets) .

Minutes walks to everything. Restaurants (dozen) , newest Uptown mall: 10 minute walk( Walmart) , Tillicum mall: 15 minutes (6 cinemas) & Mayfair mall: 5 minutes. Canadian Legion and local pubs: I will drive you and with a phone call, pick you up ( up to 10 pm ) or take a long walk (or bike )along the famous Galloping Goose Trail (entrance 100 yards) where you can walk or bike to Sooke or Sidney or till you are tired; then phone me and I will come and pick you up . Or, It’s only just a short 20 minute walk to a scenic waterfront pub style restaurant along the beautifully treed Galloping Goose. Parking is off the street at your door . You don't really need a car. 5 mins walk to bus. $2.50 bus fare takes you as far as Sydney to Sooke (or 5.00 lets you ride all day.) Retired Realtor (Estevan boy) sometimes lives in separate suite. (You don't drink and drive in Victoria. First offence will cost you approx $4,300.00. Couple and 2 Children (under 18 free. )(Birth certificates) Each additional adult $25.00 /night. (Queen Pullout). Cab fare with tip $12.00 to inner harbour or 3 minutes by car. available immediately . Months of October and November h25 % discount for ALL dates

Getting around

Buses run everywhere every 2 or 3 mins. to the inner harbour and there are 2 different stops in a 5 minute walk . I am 100 yards from the famous Galloping Goose Trail where you can walk or bike from Sydney to Sooke (no cars) Walk till you are tired, then call me. I’ll pick you up. .Tours are available by local companies to see the city or take in Butchart Gardens approximately 20 kms away. Buses also run to YYJ airport and the BC Ferries Terminal including Sidney or Sooke for around $3.00. (Or buy a $5.00 bus pass for the day). If I am available (sometimes away) I would be more than happy to supply transportation to and from your local restaurants etc.Dont drink and drive in Victoria. Very costly as well. First offence $4300.00

Interaction with guest

Guests are left to set their own interaction with host. I will be available most of the time and look forward to interaction with them... the more communications the better. Anything I can do to better their stay, I will do, including local transportation services if required. ie pickups and drop offs for dinners out, museum trips, shopping etc. as well as an ear for any problems encountered during their stay. No car? I’ll take you shopping

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gary (the owner) a message.

If Gary (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
