Located in the countryside, Casa do Norte is a charming, romantic and cozy cottage, a perfect vacation option for a couple, or a travel solo, looking for peace, tranquility and comfort.

This holiday house offers total privacy to their guests and is surrounded by a large, beautiful and private garden with fruit trees and several herbs that can be used fresh for cooking and tea.

Casa do Norte, awarded with the "Miosótis" prize for its environmental practices, offers stunning sea and mountain views in Lugar do Norte, parish of Santa Barbara, on the north side of the island. In true rural serenity, tranquility and silence predominate for perfect connection with nature. Several nearby trails provide opportunities for pleasant walks, including access to São Lourenço bay, one of the most beautiful of the archipelago, where during summer you can kayak, surf, dive or simply soak in the clear and warm sea and lay down on the beach.

This rural cottage for rent is fully equipped. The main floor is designed with an open space kitchen, living and dining room and sleeping area. In addition to the double bed, the sofa converts into twin beds to increase the accommodation capacity to four people. The lower floor has a large, full bathroom which was converted from the original storehouse.

First floor: bedroom, living room and kitchen;

Ground floor: large and complete bathroom

Equipment: refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, satellite TV, CD player, library, among others.

Outside: garden furniture, including barbecue, tables and wooden benches and loungers.

Internet (wi-fi), channel tv and bicycles are also available for guests use for free.

Through partnership with local businesses, guests can enjoy various activities, from guided themed walking tours, boat tours, diving, canyoning, mountain biking, among others.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Laurinda (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
