Description

Vivenda Pirilampo offers a large self contained two bedroom apartment with huge terraces and a swimming pool all for your own private use and with free WiFi throughout.

The Villa is set at the edge of a small village and from the terraces you have wonderful views over the village and to the mountains beyond.

Vivenda Pirilampo is perfectly placed for touring and sight-seeing in central Portugal. Only a short drive away in the surrounding area there are numerous river beaches, schist villages and castles.

The city of Coimbra with it's many cafes, shopping malls and the famed university is just a 30 minute drive away and the coast is less than an hours drive. Or you can relax at the villa besides you own private pool, eating in or dinning out at one of the many local restaurants.

Vivenda Pirilampo is a perfect base from which to start and enjoy your holiday, to chill and relax or sight-see and explore, a place to make happy memories.

“Great, Just Great”

If you are looking for a peaceful location with great views in a rural location, then providing you have a valid driving licence this could be for you. Diane and Roy are the most genial of hosts, if you want something they will give you the best of attention, if you don't you are on your own. Yes, they live above you but use a different entrance and their garden is at the back. You get the front view and the pool to yourself. As it is rural things to see and do are a drive away, so a car is a must NOT an option. The accommodation is very comfortable and well furnished. The photos are accurate and, yes, the patio is that big!!

We have just been lucky enough to spend two wonderful weeks at Vivenda Pirilampo ! We cannot recommend this property highly enough and over 18 years, it’s by far the best self-catering holiday property we’ve ever had. Yes, what you see IS what you get ! Private and secluded, the location is wonderful. Everywhere, inside and out is absolutely spotlessly clean throughout, the facilities are top notch and the pool is just divine. The whole experience was topped off by our hosts, Diane and Roy. They struck the perfect balance of being friendly, informative hosts, not in any way intrusive, but always at hand if needed. Just such a genuine, lovely, relaxed couple. (And I’m not related to them, I promise). They should rightly be proud of their beautiful home. You would do well to spend some time here. We didn’t want to go home !

Me and my wife have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Villa Vivenda Pirilampo. From the photographs we had seen, the villa seemed to good to be true, you will not be disappointed it far exceeded our expectations! The Villa has the most amazing views and is well equipped for the use of self catering. The pool is maintained at times that fits in with you so that you always have your privacy, clean towels and bed linen were also provided half way throughout our stay. The hosts Diane and Roy have perfected the balance of giving you your own space but are also available if you should need something or for information. (you don't know that they are there) We visited Coimbra for the day which has lots of pretty streets to explore and an abundance of cafes to enjoy a coffee and to try one of the many local delicacies. The university is open to visit, a ticket can be purchased that gets you entrance to the university itself which is steeped in history, the Bell Tower, Library and Science Museums. You an spend 2-3 hours here. We ate out at a local Portuguese restaurant which is a 10-15 minute drive called "Cota" which again boasts beautiful views over the valley. It serves great food with very generous portions at very reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and understand some English, worth a visit. This has been our first trip to Portugal and we will definitely be returning! We would like to thank Diane and Roy for making us feel so welcome.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Diane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
