WELCOME to The Heights at Taluswood – Perched high above Nordic & Creekside surrounded by a tranquil forrest setting. This is the perfect home to entertain the whole family! Whistler Village is only a five minute drive or you can get to Creekside even quicker. This particular property in one of the only ones that has a secondary parking spot right in the middle of the village !!

For our summer guests, you can bike in / bike out being slope side to the popular Creekside bike park trails, including the blue run, Insomnia, the Creekside Gondola is only minutes away for prime access. It's not far to the Valley trails for a network of biking & hiking throughout the Valley. The closest swimming beach is Alta Lake. A five minute drive will take you to Whistler Village which is bustling with activity - tons of restaurants, pubs, shopping and endless activities. Each weekend in Summer generally brings an event of some sort. The Family Adventure Zone is located in the Upper Village, where there are tons of children's activities such as bungee trampolines, mini golf, go carts, mazes, batting cages and so much more! The Whistler Farmers' Market is also held every Wednesday, Sunday and Holiday Saturday in the same location.

For our winter guests, this beautiful townhome offers ski-in / ski out access to the Dave Murray ski trail (please note - this is an intermediate trail). Details of ski in / ski out access below. For those that would prefer to start at the Gondola, Whistler Creekside Gondola is a few minute drive where you can park for free for the day while skiing.

This modern and tastefully decorated, open concept 3 bedroom / 2.5 bathroom townhome is extremely spacious and offers beautiful mountain views from the balconies. Upon entry there is a large mudroom / entryway with bench and lots of space for hanging wet gear and sports equipment. The well-appointed kitchen is open plan featuring granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, providing all that is needed to cook up a big family meal or just a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes or the trails. Just off the kitchen is a dining area that comfortably sits 6 people which leads to a deck with BBQ and seating. The living area features vaulted ceilings with exposed log and beam, a gas fireplace to cozy up to on the comfy sofas after a day of exploring the mountains along with a flat screen TV and stereo. There is a powder room located on this floor for added convenience. The private hot tub is located on the lower deck and the home also has laundry facilities and a double car garage which can park 2 vehicles as well as a 3rd on the driveway. Free WiFi, cable and local calls included.

The master bedroom is located on the top level featuring a king sized bed & private balcony with mountain views. The ensuite bathroom features a deep soaking tub and separate shower. The second bedroom is located on the lower level with a queen bed and the third bedroom, also on the lower floor features a double and twin bed. All bedrooms include a flat screen TV. There is a bathroom on the lower level with a bathtub and separate shower.

Ski Access - The entrance to the ski-out is found next to #1 The Heights, in Taluswood. At the end of this trail, you will need to take off your ski equipment to cross the street, where you can then continue to ski down the Lower Dave Murray Downhill Trail to the Creekside Gondola. The ski home trail is located just off the Lower Dave Murray Downhill Ski run. When descending down this run, look out for the Green Olympic Rings on skier's right. You will need to turn right just above these rings which will take you to the Home Run Trail. Follow this trail to the Taluswood Lookout Complex - there is a short 1 minute walk down to the Heights, Taluswood complex. A detailed map can be provided upon request. Kindly note that access to these trails may be limited due to weather particularly in the shoulder seasons.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
