The "Springhills" house is a small, cozy one-bedroom place, available for your exclusive use, comfortably accommodating 2 people. Far enough away from town to be tranquil and peaceful, close enough for sightseeing, shopping, events or work. Enjoy the convenience, amenities and comfort of this jewel at the edge of wilderness nestled in pine and aspen forest, a 3- minute walk from the Hotsprings. The house is ideal for adventurers, business travellers, and guests seeking to explore the surrounding attractions and the extensive network of hiking and biking trails beginning at your doorstep, or watch the northern lights (aurora borealis) in the winter.

The bedroom features a queen size bed with 2 duvets. Should separate beds be needed, the sofa bed in the living room can transform into a bed.

The fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker) opens into the comfy living/dining room where you'll find a couch and 44” Satellite TV. The house has lots of storage for your belongings and necessities. There is no land line phone but cell phone coverage and complimentary high-speed internet (wifi), a desk, printer and device charging station for your business needs. Linens, towels, and basic pantry items are provided, including spices, sugar, coffee, tea, oil, vinegar, etc.

For longer stays, extra towels and linens are available upon request.

House rules

The house is for two adults. Children cannot be accommodated. Minimum age for all guests is 21. The number of booked guests staying at the cabin cannot be changed upon arrival.
Bandwidth is limited; guests promise not to stream movies, music, or up/download large files. Satellite TV and extensive DVD library are provided.
Place must be clean, dishes washed and put away upon departure.
There is no housekeeping during your stay.
We do not provide transportation/shuttle services.

During your 2-night stay the aurora conditions weren’t optimal. Our previous guests have had great success in glimpsing the lights as you can see by the photos on the listing page, which were taken at the house. For an even better view, we encouraged you to check out Observation Hill, a 7 minute walk away with 360 degree views of the sky. The Yukon Astronomical Society is setting up an observatory there. We’re sorry the aurora didn’t happen for you that day.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Fay (the owner) a message.

If Fay (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
