Enjoy the comforts of your private self contained deluxe suite: comfy queen bed, mini kitchenette, dining area & balcony overlooking the garden; enjoy the gas fireplace from the bed sitting area or from the soaker tub in the luxurious ensuite. BBQ on the balcony. Stream movies on the TV. Shared outdoor seasonal spaces include patio, decks, and pool. Steps from Bluewater Park (dramatic waterfront, dock,walking paths, outdoor exercise equipment,swimming area, and more!) the Bruce Trail, shops and cafes in Wiarton; the perfect base from which to explore the Bruce Peninsula! ...or simply cocoon!

The Flying Doctor B&B Suite at Green Heart Gardens on George is located at the back of the home on the second floor and is set back from the rest of the upstairs. Massage therapy or private yoga classes may be available by prearrangement.

The mini kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, kettle, coffee maker, espresso machine, mini fridge with freezer and is supplied with dishes, coffee, tea, yogourt, fresh fruit in season, and other supplies.

Walk, bike, cab, kayak or canoe. Almost anything not in easy walking distance is in easy driving distance. Bikes are recommended, and can be rented in Owen Sound. Canoes & kayaks can also be rented nearby.

House rules

Your suite is very private from the rest of the house. If you choose to have windows open or are out on the balcony, sound will travel so we just ask that you be mindful of children sleeping in the neighbourhood and keep outdoor or outdoor travelling sounds down after 10 pm. There is absolutely no smoking indoors. If you wish to smoke on the balcony, please ask ahead of time so that outdoor ashtrays can be provided.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Anna Jean (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
