CONTACT OWNER IF LOOKING FOR LARGER VACATION RENTAL OR IF the CALENDAR IS BOOKED. We rent other vacation rentals in the Catskills.

Cozy, 1 bedroom unit, ideal for a couple. Great for skiers. 3rd person requests considered on case to case basis. Perfect for couples (or couple with a child). Beds: 1 full, 1 folding mattress (twin).

Just 2 miles from Ski Windham, 6 miles to Hunter Mountain. Located in Hensonville (part of Windham, NY)

Walking distance to grocery, diner, newly-opened brew pub / restaurant, fitness center and a 4 star restaurant. Off street parking. This cozy unit is located in town, NOT "in the woods". There are houses and neighbors near the house as you would see in any other town.

Free Village Shuttle to downtown Windham and Windham Mountain base on weekends and holidays! (winter)

Local cab services throughout the mountaintop are also available as well as Uber and Lyft.

Near 100's of acres State Forest Preserves. Ideal for skiers, hikers, Mt. Bikers, fishermen, hunters, or just a relaxing stay in this quaint Catskills hamlet!

Walk to Nana Gail's Cafe for breakfast or lunch, or to Deli / Family Style Grocery for a sandwich or supplies- both a short walk away! Walk to Botavia Kill Creek. For drinks and dinner visit renowned Vesuvio's Italian Restaurant, just a few minutes walk away!

This is a very cozy, simple apartment . Owner does live in the same house (separate entrance). Cozy bedroom has 1 full bed. Optional folding mattress (twin size) available upon request (see photos) when renting for two for a $25 fee (included when renting for 3).

Kitchenette for simple/light cooking, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, water boiling kettle, counter-top single burner. Couple of basic pots and pans, dishes, glasses, utensils. There is no toaster and we do not allow guests to bring any electronic cooking devices due to past problems.

Relax on the new porch or grill outside on our 22 inch Weber grill.

Bathroom: shower and a toilet.

We supply things to start you off with. Grocery store is within 10 minutes walk if you need more napkins, toilet paper, etc.

Please bring paper towels or charcoal for the grill.

Please note: Cell phone reception is spotty in our town. There is WIFI at the house.

Short cab ride to additional restaurants, grills, shopping and scheduled activities and festivals available in nearby downtown Windham, Hunter or Durham.

Hike or bike to nearby C.D. Lane Park (3 miles away), or BlackDome State Forrest (6 miles-noted hiking trails and open to licensed hunting during season). Golf nearby at Windham Country Club (2 miles); Christmans (4 miles). Several other golf courses also nearby. Zoom Flume Water Park aprox. 30 minutes. Lots of skiing, riding, hiking, hunting, fishing, Mt. Biking, local festivals, farmer's markets and other activities available in local area.

Enjoy the beauty of Catskill Mountains surroundings! Ski during winter season and have fun at the local festivals during spring, summer and fall!

Check In/Check Out: : Cabin is ready for guests from 3:30PM on the day of arrival.

Check out hour is at or before 11AM.

Earlier check in or later check out might be available for a fee, but can only be confirmed last minute, if there are no guests checking out on your arrival day, or checking in on your departure day.

SAME DAY BOOKINGS/ARRIVALS: if you're booking the day you would like to arrive, please know that it may take few/several hours to prepare and/or heat the cabin for you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
