A selection of 3 beautiful self-catering holiday cottages located at Upcott Squire in the beautiful North Devon countryside near Exmoor national park.

Upcott Squire House and Holiday Cottages are set in 24 acres of lawns, farmlands, woods and wildlife ponds, where guests are free to roam at will.

Upcott Squire Devon Holidays is situated just outside the charming rural village of Nomansland, famous for the good food served at The Mount Pleasant Pub.

Within two miles are the traditional countryside villages of Rackenford and Witheridge.

This is an ideal base for exploring all the local tourist attractions including Exmoor, Dartmoor, the quaint villages and vibrant market towns and of course the beautiful North Devon beaches.

Upcott Squire Devon Holidays are a pet-friendly cottages. However, dog owners must contact the property owner prior to booking a Cottage.

All 3 cottages have free WiFi.

Upcott Squire Annexe

Upcott Squire Annexe is self-catering guest accommodation attached to the main house for 2 people set in a beautiful, tranquil countryside valley.

The living room has beautiful countryside views of Upcott Squire gardens, grounds, farmlands and woodlands.It is of a good size, light, comfortable and is fully double glazed. The living room offers Sky colour TV, DVD player, CD stereo, and a double bed-settee. This room has French doors which open out into a patio, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

There is a tidy, well kept open plan fully fitted kitchen/ diner with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, automatic washing machine etc.

The dining area has a dining room table and chair set for meals and a selection of books and board games for the guest's enjoyment.

The charming double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and toilet. Bed linen is included. It has been decorated in a traditional old Devonian farmhouse style and overlooks the spacious, secluded, fully enclosed lawned garden to the rear.

There is a large, fully enclosed private lawned garden to the rear for the exclusive use of the visitors, with garden furniture, croquet, BBQ and splendid rural views.

Ample driveway parking for two cars.

Upcott Squire Annexe is a pet-friendly cottage. Your pets are welcome to stay here and enjoy the wonderful woods, fields and gardens. However, owners must contact the property owner prior to booking a Cottage. In the interests of hygiene, dogs should not be allowed on the beds.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Peter (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
