“Excellent house and location for lovely break” Lovely house that makes you feel home from home. Spacious and well fitted out. Plenty to entertain all the family. A short walk from the beach and cafes / bars. Great local shop too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely return to the location and the house.

“Amazing Appartment - in the heart of glorious Tenby” Myself and my sister stayed at this appartment for a long weekend with 4 children, and what an amazing time we had. Weather was brilliant for half term in February. The appartment is very spacious, 3 big bedrooms (one with en-suite), lovely bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room. Plenty of room, balcony. I cannot rate this appartment highly enough. There's also a secure car park space for each appartment. It's in an amaing location. Very well equiped with plenty of toys for the children, very clean, and very modern deco. We will definately be back in the near future :-) x

“Suberb relaxing holiday in excellent accommodation.” The apartment was excellent. Everything was there we only needed to take towels. Gorgeous view of the island, tenby and the sea. Just like a home from home. A minute walk to the train station, short drive into tenby although the walk along the beach to tenby is beautiful. Booking was really easy and kate was extremely helpful, answering any emails promptly. Would recommend to anyone. Great holiday.

“Brilliant family holiday” Fab place pictures do not do it justice. Went on a family holiday with 5 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room. Brilliant location and plenty to do in the area. Tenby is a beautiful place and we will definitely go back.

“Perfect!” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tenby. A tranquil, cosy flat, immaculately clean and very well equipped. Beautuliful views from the velux windows. A perfect location, central to all the local shops, pubs, restaurants and beautiful beaches! We enjoyed a very romantic meal in the Baytree Restaurant, top quality food and a great atmosphere. The Plantagenate was pricey, however the food, staff and atmosphere were well worth the cost. We couldn't pass the tiny fish bar on the Harbour without buying a tub of shellfish! A real seaside must! The coastal walk to Saundersfoot was tiring but totally breathtaking. The walks over on South beach were lovely too. We loved watching the tide come in as the boats bobbed up and down on the water. We sat on the wall with 2 glasses and a bottle of red, with the fishing rod that was kindly left by Adrian the owner, extremely theraputic and relaxing even though we didnt get a nibble! The seal safari was a great trip, quite reasonable and we were absolutely chuffed to see 3 seals! So cute!!!! The weather was the icing on the cake. We had an amazing break, we most definitely will be returning in the near future - and hopefully again and again and again as Mr and Mrs Wilson Many many thanks x

“lovely and relaxing stay” We had a lovely and relaxing stay at No 1 North Beach House. The apartment was beautiful and decorated to a high standard. The views from the window seat were stunning and it was the perfect spot to relax with a good book and watch the day go by. The off street parking was also really useful, so all in all it was a great base for our holiday.

“Amazing” We stayed at this apartment this month (April) and the apartment was amazing! The photos on the website do not do it justice, it's so much better in real life. Really spacious and felt like a home from home. Bathrooms are really modern and clean. Swimming pool was great and location is perfect. We will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend as amazing value for money.

“A Home from Home” We had all we needed in this well equipped, clean bungalow. Compfy beds which makes all the difference. Quiet area with lots of walks for our dog and a handy base to venture out to other areas. Had two lovely meals at The Lydstep Tavern on the way to Manorbier but book as its very popular!! Met a lot of the neighbours and they were helpful and lovely to talk to. Can highly recommend this property and Kate at Holiday Connections is very helpful. Thank you so much to the owners as they have really put a lot of thought in to what you may need while you stay.

“Happy” House was very comfortable, was plenty of room for 9 adults. The beds was so comfortable, only negitive needs a heater in the loft room for the winter months. Location was perfect, parked in Sainsburys long stay car park £1.50 A day or £7.50 for a week, will definitely book again

About Tenby
This walled seaside town in Pembrokeshire offers three miles of sandy beaches and plenty of historic attractions to see. Surrounded by a medieval stone wall, Tenby is a sight to behold but the wonders don't stop there. Nestled between the rolling Pembrokeshire hills and the placid waters of Carmarthen Bay, there has been a settlement here since the 9th century. From the early 19th century, Tenby became a fashionable holiday destination for both the Welsh and the English. The town is simply adorable, teeming with the archetypes of pubs and shops and summertime reverie. Visitors love the beaches (of course) but the Victorian houses painted in all types of colors are a welcoming scene as you settle into your vacation and explore Tenby.
Things to do in Tenby
The beaches are the main attraction of Tenby. Sit in the sun and play in the surf at Castle Beach or Freshwater East, two of the more popular beaches. Live the history at Carew Castle, a Norman castle that overlooks one of only 3 tidal mills left in Britain. Tenby Castle is located on a high rocky headland. Little now remains of this castle, however a fragmented, much repaired piece can be seen and toured. More modern attractions include Wales' only theme park at Oakwood, the Heatherton World of Adventure, the Dinosaur Park and Ocean Commotion, ensuring there is plenty to enjoy for kids too.
Head to Caldey Island on a short ferry where the island exudes calm, probably due to the ownership by a community of monks. Visitors can watch the birds or just relax on the beach here. St. Mary's Church is a 15th century relic with incredible architecture and a must-see spire. On Castle Hill the Tenby Museum & Art Gallery features landscapes and portraits from Pembrokeshire artists.
Walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path for fantastic views of Caldey Island. Stroll the narrow cobbled streets of Tenby itself or sit in one of the many cafes and people-watch other visitors to the gift shops, restaurants and public houses, or wander along the harbour.
Lastly, the Tudor Merchant's House on Quay Hill is a museum of the life of a wealthy merchant and his family at the turn of the 16th century. The merchant's shop, kitchen and living room are furnished in the style of Tudor times.
