“Cannot recommend this apartment highly enough!” My family and I have stayed in Hisaronu a number of times but this is the best accommodation we have found. It was just like returning home every day. There was nothing more we could have needed that wasn't provided for. The owners, David & Lilian, couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful as was the hotel responsible for the day to day matters. We definitely hope to visit again very soon. “Fantastic!! You will not be disappointed!” We travelled to Kalkan at the end of September as 2 couples with 2 children under 1 and stayed at the Serenity Villa II. From the moment we made our reservation Tracey was very prompt and helpful to ensure that all of our questions and requests beforehand were dealt with smoothly. We were impressed before we even arrived which made us look forward to our holiday all the more. Our transfer that was arranged by the villa with Brave Tours also went without a hitch. Upon arriving at the villa you are met with a definite wow factor! The villa and its view are breath-taking and throughout our stay we never tired of it. Billy the property manager was there to meet us and was great at settling us in for our holiday and even brought us fresh bread every day! He answered any questions we had and was always only a phone call away, a great touch to receiving a first class service. He also referred us to a taxi driver that looked after us for the duration of our stay and he was a real find, whenever we called he was there in 5 minutes! The villa really cannot disappoint, with its pools, Jacuzzi and hot tubs we felt so relaxed despite having the little ones with us and we never got bored with a gym, childrens pool, and playstation and pool table for the dads too. The town of Kalkan really impressed us and was a beautiful spot. You are really spoilt for choice for restaurants all the way down to the harbour and we were particularly impressed with Kosk and Aubergine. Chilli's was great and café Leon has a great menu for a quick bite. The staff are fantastic with children too and bent over backwards to keep them entertained and/or help us enjoy our evening. There is also a nearby sandy beach which is also definitely worth a visit, the sea is amazing and very inviting! We also visited the local Turkish bath which was a lovely experience. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this villa if you're thinking of booking. The property speaks for itself and the pictures don't do it justice but the little touches really make it special too. We would love to return some time in the future!

“Sheer, unadulterated luxury!” We stayed at Villa Esra for a fortnight in June and cannot rate the holiday highly enough. The villa more than lived up to the pictures and reviews and provided the ideal home away from home. The good-sized private pool was very well maintained as were the gardens of the villa and it was a pleasure to relax in these surroundings. Some reviews have commented on the steep approach hill, if you are in reasonable health then this is not an issue at all and actually helps work off the holiday calories! The location was perfect with uninterrupted views of Babadag, a favourite paragliding spot, and provided some stunning sunsets. All in all this was our best holiday ever, we only came home a few days ago and have already booked for next year! Roll on June 2014!

“We would definitely like to go back to Kalkan Retreat.” This is an excellent villa with very good views out to sea to Mouse and Snake Islands. Our family of seven was easily accommodated with spacious en-suite bedrooms. The property is very well maintained inside & outside and is cleaned every day. The terrace outside is spacious and you can cool down in a good sized swimming pool or take advantage of the air-conditioning inside. We had fun playing table tennis most days and found the WiFi access very useful. There is an approximate 15 minute walk down into the town but most of the time a taxi back uphill is advisable (14TL and there were taxis that accommodated 7 people for the same price). There are lots of restaurants to choose from but our favourite was The Fish Terrace (a roof top restaurant with lovely views over the harbour and bay) which is run by Korsan Ltd who maintained our villa. They give a discount for people staying at the villa. When we ate at the villa the best food could be sourced from the butcher near the roundabout and the fisherman's shack down the stairs from the taxi rank (big fresh prawns for 2TL each). There are a couple of convenience stores within 5 minutes walk of the villa for everyday purchases such as drinks and ice-creams. The owner of the villa was excellent. She made sure we were provided with a welcome pack of drinks and some food items. She also arranged transfers to and from the airport (ENES car rental). We would definitely like to go back to Kalkan Retreat.

“Absolutely Perfect” We stayed in this fantastic villa for a week of relaxation, and it fulfilled our every need. The villa is beautiful, and words cannot do justice for the stunning views from every balcony. The villa provided everything that we needed and the location was ideal for the privacy that it afforded, whilst being within close proximity to the town. The villa was extremely clean and very well looked after, with all the utilities necessary to make our stay perfectly comfortable. The town was marvellous, and we were able to sample divine turkish cuisine which was at very affordable prices, only a short walk away. The local people were friendly and welcoming with hilarious sense of humours, and the local dogs were just as friendly, and loved our attention (without begging for food!). I have already recommended this villa and the town of Kalkan to my family, and we hope to come again for a larger family holiday at some point in the future. We had a perfect week thanks to the villa and the fantastic owners.

“Such a fabulous place, Villa beautiful and so tranquil, people delightful.” We all agreed that this was one of the most lovely holidays we have had as an all round experience. There were 7 of us - myself and my husband, our 3 children (aging from 10-19 years of age) and my parents, who are in their 60's. Villa Suro Evi is really lovely, very spacious with the most fabulous and tranquil outlook over the sea and Kalkan town. The pool and garden areas are beautiful, not overlooked, very peaceful, very clean and well kept. There is a lovely balance of sunbathing areas and shade with the Ottaman/Olive tree - just perfect. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Kalkan. The hill is quite steep, but cabs were so cheap if we didn't fancy the walk. Kalkan is not only a beautiful town but has everything. A huge choice of fabulous restaurants, general amenities and great shopping, along with the market which was great fun. The people of Kalkan are truly delightful, service is very good and everyone was always so willing to help at any point, but without being overbearing. We really loved every moment of this holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return.

“Amazing views!” We spent a week in Kas in June 15 and stayed in this apartment. The apartment was great - so spacious (there were only two of us but would have been great for 4 as well) with plenty of outdoor space as well as indoor. The apartment is extremely well equipped and we loved the pool and although this is shared with the other apartments in the block, we found it was always quiet and we more or less had this to ourselves when we wanted to use it. The apartment is well air conditioned which is essential and the pool was a great way to cool down too. As the apartment is located up a steep hill (as with a lot of Kas) you are rewarded with the most beautiful views -even when swimming in the pool! It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Kas with all of the lovely shops and restaurants. There is no shortage of places to eat and bars to visit and the shopping is really good too. Hilary and Omer who manage this property on the owner's behalf and who are based locally could not have been more helpful. We couldn't figure out how to work the aircon properly on arrival and within 10 minutes of sending an email, Omer was round to show us. They also helped us organise tickets to visit Meis (highly recommended) and delivered water to us when we had used what was kindly provided on arrival. This made for a very easy and relaxing week! I would highly recommend Kas and this apartment and hope to return!

“Simply perfect family holiday at Gondol” We stayed at the Gondol last August and could not wait to go back again this year. Everything here is just perfect for a family getaway. The self catering apartments are located around a large pool, where you can always get a sun bed! There are only 11 apartments (I think!) and we like the fact that it is not a huge impersonal hotel. You have peace and quiet but also get to know people around the well stocked bar if you want too! The food is great - breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are superb - thank you Angela and Aladian and the owners - Jane & Ali go out of their way to make sure all is good. The location is ideal, a short walk from the main road of Ovacik where there are restaurants and shops and where you can get the local bus to Fehtyie or Olu Deniz. You can walk in to the town in around 10-15 mins which is great for shopping but a but loud at night for us. We prefer the tranquility of Gondol. Thank you Jane and Ali for another fabulous holiday - the kids want to know when we are coming back!

“I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to friends” It was our first time in Turkey and it came as a very pleasant surprise. The scenery is stunning, the people delightful and the food varied, good and cheap. Icmeler is set in a beautiful bay surrounded by dramatic mountains, everywhere you look it is lush and green-something we had not expected . Garden Villa is tucked away in a largely residential area about five minutes from the beach and less than two minutes to bars/ restaurants. A car is not necessary public transport is frequent and reasonable, whether it be dolmus or water taxi which is great fun. Simply, but adequately furnished(the beds in particular were very comfortable) the villa was spotless inside and out. The real selling point however for us was the outside space where you got the impression a considerable amount of money had been spent. When you walked out the door you were met with a really beautiful view. An exceptionally large swimming pool, pretty landscaped gardens, comfy loungers, plenty patio furniture all wrapped up in a fabulous mountain backdrop. Laze around the pool all day, walk along the 9km promenade to Maramaris or go on one of the numerous reasonably priced boat trips(we went to Rhodes) you will not be bored. Finally I have to mention the owner who went out of his way to be helpful throughout the booking process. He forwarded lots of information on the area, suggestions for day trips etc and was only a phone call away should we have any queries. A caretaker was also available on a daily basis . I have booked many villas/apartments in the past but have never had such an efficient personal service. It was a delight to deal with him and I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to friends.

“Bliss” We stayed at Yayla for 16 days and loved every minute of our stay there. We went with two friends and in laws joined us a few day later. We arrived just after a storm so NO sun that day, We got up early the next day to glorious sunshine and that weather stayed for the duration of our holiday. The villa is huge,has lovely comfy sofas and all the kitchen equipment you need for your holiday. It is a home from home. We liked Uzumlu loads. Lovely traditional village away from the tourist trap but with enough restaurants to eat out should you need to. Plenty of local shops too. The cafe in the square does lovely breakfasts and the service exceptional. The shop next to this also does a taxi service should you need it. We used it a few times as the walk up to the villa can be a bit taxing at times. Needless to say we got quite fit whilst there. If you wanted to go to the tourists traps like Fethiye.Olu Denis and Ovacik they are only a 20 - 40 Dolmus ride away. Fethiye being the closest. We went the a few times to the supermarkets and the big market which is on a Tuesday. Uzumlu's market is on a Friday which is good for fruit and vegetables if you are eating at the villa. We ate mostly at the villa but had 4 or 5 nights out in the local restaurants. I was worried about being bitten due to the greenery around the villa but Nobody got any mosquito bites at all. The pool is very private which was a bonus. We loved it that much we bought a resale villa when we were there - now just cannot wait for the villa to be ours. We are hoping to retire early and live there permanently in a few months. Lots to sort out now (thanks Jo)! Cadianda ruins are worth a visit but be warned we walked to it from the road and it took us hours - we were very exhausted when we eventually got home. It may be quicker from the villa through the woods but we failed to find it that way. The villa is also spotless just could not fault it. All in all we all had a lovely time here, Thanks Jo for letting us share your wonderful home!

“Nice relaxing stay” We had a great weeks stay at the apartment. The apartment was well equipped and the swimming pool was fantastic. No problems getting a sun bed. The staff on the site were very friendly and we had no problems. The site is a little bit out of town but the taxi service was brilliant and very cheap. It’s a fixed rate of 15 Lire approx £2.00. The most we had to wait was 5/10 minutes. There is also the Dolmus that stops at the entrance to the apartments to take you to Gulluk which is only a short distance away. However at the beginning of June they did not run very regularly. We found it way too hot to attempt to walk. The only negativity I can say is that it would not be suitable for wheelchairs or the physically infirmed as there are a lot of steps.

“Home sweet home with so much more......” My fiance and I stayed at Flamingo Resort for 1 week, of a two week holiday in April 2012 and immediately felt at home, as all the home comforts that one needs are well catered for. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and each room has bright open living spaces, with direct access to the main balcony too! The airport transfer was only 20 minutes away from the resort, so a real plus in our view - and talking of views, we had the view of a beautiful lake to our left and the Aegean sea to our right and enjoyed these beautiful sights (and sounds of nature) from the apartments front balcony. The resort was quiet in April but this suited us just fine - we had access to amenities of other resorts which were a 15 minute walk away, which made for a nice stroll back to the Flamingo resort after dinner! The food in the Turquoise Restaurant was very good! These Turquoise Resort amenities included a Market/small shop, Turkish Bath, Swimming Pool/slides, Restaurant, Bar, Gym all in one area. If you need more than the basics, just 5 minutes away from these amenities, and near to Sunset Cafe/Restaurant there is a larger well stocked shop with fruit, vegetables, eggs and any household products you may or may not need. Sunset Cafe/Restuarant also offers good food with great views. We also took advantage of the dolmus/small bus transport system to visit Bodrum for the day which can be caught on the main road right outside the resort. The security guard will advise you of the times if asked. We had varying weather in April which included sunny days reaching 20C, overcast days and very windy days too but all of the amenities above are set up for all kinds of weather, so this didn't get in the way of our (make it up as we along) holidays plans! To sum up we had a much needed relaxing break with lots other things to do if we wanted to! Perfect chill out territory!

“Wow! Wow! Wow!” as soon as you walk through the front door, you will be speechless! This villa should be 5* plus! Views: stunning Accommodation: amazing Facilities: faultless! They even have a water cooler and replace the water! Never been to a self catering villa where this has been provided, no more lugging large bottles of water! As for the kettle lol, I want one! Believe in the photos on the website, they are all as gorgeous as they look! Ugar, who we booked through, has been very helpful prior to arrival and whilst we were in the villa, if he doesn’t know what you need to know, it isn’t worth knowing Now for the negatives, there’s always a negative! The only one MINOR negative of this villa is the very large hill the villa is situated on! You can walk down it to the shops, but I wouldn’t let my very able bodied mother of 75 do it! Get a cab back! It costs about 15 lira, current rate approx £2 so a no brainier in my view. Don’t let this stop you from booking as we was given a taxi number and when we rang, he was there within minutes and never let us down, thank you Hassan. The view more than compensates for this minor detail DON’T HESITATE, book this villa, it is amazing!! Not at the same time as us as we will be back!
