“Beautiful, quiet, relaxing community, but close to beaches, marina, shopping and nightlife” I rented the house with my two daughters ages 19 and 24. We all had a great time, the home was clean, well maintained, nicely furnished and all of the necessities so we could save money and cook at home. The patio area is large with comfy couches and a beautiful large outdoor table to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lush green grass and bright blue pool was another perfect place for the million or so "Selfies" that my girls took. I enjoyed the quiet nights, the birds singing, leaving the back doors and windows open with a cool breeze while I read my book. My girls really enjoyed the pool, beaches, marina, and we all enjoyed the shopping and night life :D We will be back again next year, so much more of beautiful historic Portugal for us to explore.

“Perfect location, great stay” We have been coming to Vilamoura for a few years now and have stayed in different hotels but we were so glad we found River's apartment, it's the best location overlooking the marina and restaurants. We loved coming back early evening and having a bottle of bubbly whilst watching everyone go by and watching the yachts come and go. We couldn't believe how many new restaurants we found this year just by staying at this side of the marina and going up the back streets. The apartment was perfect for us two bedrooms with adequate storage and two lovely bathrooms. There was everything you need in the apartment it was just perfect. The pool area was a lovely place to chill by the day, so quiet, I've never slept so much on a sunbed! There was always a breeze to keep you cool. River was very quick at answering any of questions. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks River x

“Lovely big villa in a great location for Vilamoura's attractions” This was our second stay at Casa Anme and we've booked again for October this year, that in itself speaks volumes. Graham, the owner, was waiting for us both times, complete with beer and wine in the fridge which was most welcome after the early start and flights! My son and his cousin were in the heated pool within minutes of arrival. The villa is very clean and well equipped, and there's plenty of room inside and out to relax. Location wise it's perfect too, a 10 to 15 minute stroll down to the marina and beach where you'll find a wide variety of places to eat and drink...and people watch! The locals are all very friendly and tolerate the tourists making zero effort with the language...do try a few words, it makes a big difference. In the other direction is the 'Old Village'(actually a fairly modern development but built in a nice style) where there's a decent little supermarket and a few bars and restaurants. From Vilamoura there are numerous trips you can take, either to the older towns nearby or to the waterparks. We don't bother with car hire because of this and the availability of so many bars and restaurants locally, combined with the swimming pool and comfort of Casa Anme. Thoroughly recommended and I can't wait to be out there again.

About Vilamoura
Vilamoura sits on on Portugal’s southern coast, and is now one of the largest tourist resorts in Europe. However, it doesn't feel like a tourist trap; it's unique small-town charm makes it even more appealing.
