When to visit Benalmedena
The Costa del Sol has some of the best weather in all of Europe so there is never a bad time to visit. Peak periods are from May till September with August being extremely hot. If you come to Benalmedena during the height of the summer you will soon understand why the Spanish still take a siesta in the afternoon.
How to get to Benalmedena
Getting to Benalmadena could not be simpler as it is only 18 kilometres from Malaga Airport, which is a short two and a half hour flight from London. The simplest way to get to your Benalmedena apartment or villa is to take a taxi located right outside the arrivals hall. The fare to your accommodation in Benalmedena should cost you between 20€ to 25€. Another cheaper option if you know how to get where you are staying is to take the train from the newly built station right outside the terminal.
