What guests say about staying at my properties
Best communication with the owner ever. Dianka was very kind and helpful. The apartment is close to the sightseeing bus stop and tourist sites. At the first time the building was a little bit hard to find because it's on a back street, but fine later on. One small suggestion: it'll be better if the toilet paper rolls were not put on the floor. On average the stay was pleasant.
Appartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. We liked it very much. Diankap's friend waited for us and was very friendly and very helpful. (It is recommendable to learn in detail before arrival how to get to the appartment as the street is so small that it is not listed on the map. So we lost an hour in finding our way although we arrived just around the corner. It is also recommendable to bring ear plugs as there is a youth club opposite to the apparment house with music until 3 am.) We loved the location of the appartment as it is in the old part of city center with lots of nice and modest restaurants and friendly neighbours.
A confortable, quiet and well located apartment. Near a subway station : 2 lines ; one going directly to the old Lisbon ; just one change to go to the airport (around 40 minutes). You can also walk to the center by the Avenida da Liberdade (nice walk). We received a nice welcome at arrival (although we arrived late!) We had a very good time in Lisbon (and Sintra) and hope to come back (hopefully in the same appartment).
Very pleasant apartment, comfortable and relaxing. Great location right by tram line just a very short ride to all major tourist attractions. Elevator makes fifth floor a bonus for the views instead of a stair-climbing drag. Beds are VERY firm, but I've come to expect that in Europe. Internet access was a bit spotty, with wireless router hooked to DSL connection. It would cut out with somewhat aggravating frequency, but worked enough to eventually do what was needed. Kitchen could have been a little better stocked with cookware, since part of my reason for taking an apartment is to be able to cook for myself for most meals. Nevertheless, a very pleasant stay. Be sure you have a working phone on arrival to contact host. Intercom did not work, and was confusing even if it had. Both I and my brother who arrived later ended up stuck out on the street for a while, trying to figure out how to get in. Phone contact is essential.
