Sabljak family has been engaged in tourism and has been growing organic vegetables for a few years. Since these two activities go well together, as is apparent by the general interest in eco-tourism, we have decided to combine them in one.
We have built two wooden cottages – apartments for rent, which are located on the family's agricultural estate in a small, uninhabited village called Jelov Klanac.
Isolation and privacy is the combination which attracts visitors that are tired of everyday city life. Nature lovers will be able to satisfy all their senses and enjoy in four different scenarios offerd by the four seasons.
Wooden cottages, each 42 m2 – small, but comfortable and charming, consist of one kitchen which is equipped with basic appliances – stove and refrigerator, and running water; dining room; bedroom with king sized bed for romantic weekends for couples; gallery where there are 3 beds – for the company of friends or children, and bathroom with a shower.
During the winter space is heated by fireplace that runs on wood, which gives the place warm and romantic atmosphere. During the summer rooms are comfortable becuse of the wooden materials that have been used.
Additional fees, if applicable, must be arranged directly with the Host after booking. Only accommodation fees are payable when booking through the HouseTrip platform.
Fantastic property, spacious, easily enough space for 5 people with beautiful views. Great hostess, very helpful and generous with the produce from the farm around the cottage! Great location for the Plitvice parks and the barac caves were a surprise find! Very easy to find, just off the main road in Rakovica. Would definately stay again
We had such a wonderful time at this cabin. Except for an identical cabin next to it - the area was somewhat secluded. We loved the cabin - its simplicity, the smell of the wood, the workmanship, the cool temperature at night. We went with two adult children and we all enjoyed. We would have enjoyed having a small living room area - which was not a problem for us - since we were there for two nights - had we been there longer - it may have been a problem. The hosts were terrific - warm and helpful. Would love to be there again.
