The Andrássy Avenue Downtown Apartment was fully renovated in 2009 and the building itself got its new and refresched form just in last autumn, 2012. Today it turns into a peaceful flat agian in the heart of the city.
It is located in the large octagonal shaped square called Oktogon at the meeting point of the Grand Boulevard and Andrássy Avenue. This perfect location allows you to reach Budapest's main attractions in a few minutes. The elegant Andrásy Avenue is a one of Budapest's major cultural hubs with a range of museums, exhibitions halls and examples of fine architecture. The apartment is in the smart quarter of Budapest full of theatres, clubs, restaurants, cafés and shops.
It is 20 meters from the Metro Station M1 (Millennium Underground), the tram station (4-6), several buses and the Nyugati Railway Station it's just 200 meters away.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor of an authetnic bulinding, is approximately 65m2 in size, consists one bedroom with a double bed (not twin bed) and another bedroom with 3 beds.
It has fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a washing machine, a separate toilet and wireless internet included in the price.
It offers spacious comfortable accommodation up to 5 people so it could be the ideal choice for friends, couples or families with small children.
La verdad que el apartamento está muy bien localizado (hay una boca de metro al lado y muchos restaurantes para comer alrededor) y es muy cómodo para vivir. La cocina es amplia y está muy bien equipada y las habitaciones también son amplias. Además Csilla es muy simpática, atenta y la verdad que no podríamos haber tenido una mejor casera.
La propriétaire était gentille. L'appartement était très bien situé et très bien aménagé. Il manque un peu de vaisselle. Par contre, nous n'avons pas eu de chance, l'immeuble était en rénovation. Donc, beaucoup de bruit tous les jours, dès 7 h 30 jusqu'à 17 heures. Beaucoup de poussière. On ne pouvait pas se reposer.
Good location near historical yellow line metro station. In the middle between historical city center and Szecheniy bath on Heroes Square. Apartment is big. Third single bed situated in small room. We were in August and it was very hot. No hair dryer. TV and Internet exists, but doesnt work. So, we used insecured WiFi from neighbours.:)
To be honest, this apartment is very nice. The host makes it very clean and comfortable (but no water pot for making tea). The location is also very good, 1 min walk to the metro, tram and bus stations. When we told the host that we would like to check out at 7:45, she was Ok for that, but she did not appear on time and we had to call her at 8:10. Then she told us that she sent me a SMS that her friend would come to get the key at 7:45.....but indeed I did not get the SMS, the host should have called us, anyway, we have to wait for another 10 min, but still nobody came. Then we have to just left the key in the apartment, luckily we did not miss our bus to Vienna. I hope nothing was stolen and the host be on time for other guests.
