The apartment is located in Koukaki area, one of the quieter, safer and nicer in Athens center, less then 15 minutes walking to the Akropoli and Plaka.
It is on the 5th floor of a nice condominium. Supermarket, bakery, meat and vegetable shops, pharmacy as well as nice bars and restaurants are just a stone’s throw away from the apartment. Open air vegetables, fruit and fish market every Friday in the neighborhood.
Syntagma square, the central square in Athens, is on walking distance (20 minutes approximately) or can be easily reached by bus and metro in 5 minutes.
The bus station is 20 meters away, while the metro station 400 meters.
The apartment was completely restored -with particular attention to aesthetic and materials- three years ago by her owner, Rena, an architect working in one of the most prestigious architectural firms in Athens. Rena speaks English, French and Italian.
The unit (95 square meters plus a very big balcony) has two bedrooms (one double bed and one sofa double bed), one big bathroom, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen and a very big living room and dining room with, among other, a dining table accommodating up to ten people and a 5 meter white leather couch.

We stayed from 8 to 12 July. The place was very nice. We especially like to sit on the terrace in the evenings. Moreover it was close to the city's main attractions. There was also a lot of shops and restaurants in the vicnity. The only thing is that there was a bit too warm during the nights because there was no air conditioning but it was explained in earlier comments.
Perfect apartment in perfect surroundings. Tasteful apartment, fantastic large and cosy balcony, great art on the walls, super kitchen, new and beautiful bathroom - all very clean and in perfect condition. Great apartment. 10 minutes walk to Akropolis and situated where only locals live, which means cheap bakery, cheap vegetables, cheap grocery and cheap gyros pittas - and extremely nice people - for real! The host, Irini, was very helpful and kind. All in all a perfect place for the price.

We stayed in the apartment from 25 till 28/06/2013.Really good and comfortable apartment with beatifull terrace! It looks like 5* hotel! We went to Akropoli by foot aproximatly 15-20 minutes throught the park. Close to apartments are supermarket and very good meet market. The owner, Irini is very frendly person! We recieved all information and also we were pleased to have honey, coffe, milk and cakes from her for our breakfast. Only ione notice, it's too hot in Athnes in summer, for the best conditions will be better to add air conditioner at the bed room. Natalia.
