Hello :)
the room is very big (17m2) and very quiet, with a broad view facing south. With a couple bed, a desk and a big wardrobe. A bunk bed can also be added.
The house is very confortable, calm, sunny, well built and organized. There's wireless internet. The kitchen has an amazing view and a little balcony over the river. Smokers are always free to smoke there and relax :)
It's in Penha de França, in a very nice square full of trees and a quiet children's playground. The whole square and neighbourhood was built in the 50's and is very pleasable. It's basically a family neighbourhood, with small stores. It's possible to park in the nearby streets. Anjos Subway Station. Bus (Sapadores stop): E(phone number hidden). It's quite close (10 min walk) to the historic neighourhoods of Castelo, Alfama (flea market, mourish-like architecture, typical restaurants) and Mouraria (intercultural neighbourhood, international supermarkets and restaurants). Also very close to some really great sight-seeing places (Graça, Senhora do Monte). It's great place from where to start living Lisboa :)
I'm a visual artist, a children's educator, a drawing teacher, a researcher in life :) So, I have a lot of great books to read in the house :)

I work as Guide in the Gulbenkian Foundation's Center of Modern Art (actually very very nice -amazing gardens too- and close to the house, 30 minute ride, subway included) and I teach drawing at Nextart, a Private Arts School.
I have a very nice little studio in the house, where I build and experiment a few things with painting, live model drawing, ephemeral sculptures, etc. You're welcome to make a visit when you are here in Lisboa :)))

The apartment is really nice, and so is the host. It is a little bit outside of the city center, but that is no problem as there is a metro and bus station nearby, and you can get to the center very easily. A lot of fruit & vegetable shops around, which is also really nice to have. Also, a really lovely view from the kitchen :)
