The Albus B&B merges modern comfort and design with the spellbinding allure of a medieval palazzo in the heart of Florence. Located in the charming “Oltrarno” area known for its artisans and many charming shops, the Albus B&B is just a 10 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio and everything the historic city centre has to offer. This central location allows visitors to reach all the major sights and attractions within minutes of stepping out our front door.
The B&B has 3 rooms available, each with a private bath:
The JUNIOR SUITE has two single beds and a private bathroom featuring double sinks, shower with hydro massage, toilet and bidet.
The DOUBLE ROOM has a king-size bed with a private bathroom and a separate shower, located in the room itself.
The FAMILY SUITE has two queen-size beds with a private bathroom featuring a sink, shower, toilet and bidet.

-By request: use of our fully equipped kitchen, with stove, double sink, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
-Use of our private garden.
Guests also have the option of parking in our private gated lot (for an additional fee).

This is located in a beautiful location across the river and about 10-15 minutes bus trip right to the center of Florence. The flat is lovely, very clean, very light, very spacious and easily fitted in the four adults and four children. The smaller bedroom on the road is noisy - even with the window closed so if you need to use that room take earplugs. For those with small kids be aware there are breakable things which we moved on arrival! I think this apartment stretches imagination a bit when it describes itself as Oltrarno - which I would normally think of as directly across the Ponte Vecchio and spreading right to S.Spirito and left a bit and this apartment is much further out than that. However the 23 bus and the D electric bus are both really close by and get you anywhere you want in no time at all. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The apt was lovely and so nice and clean. My only fault of it was the smaller bed room was so close to the street that the noise of the cars, buses and motor bikes waked me up at all hours of the night. I felt really safe in the neighborhood and there were many shops and good restaurants. I would stay there again of I were to go to Florence. The senora was pleasant and friendly and helpful.
We had a nice stay with our family in this nice appartment. Nice furniture, clean and very well equiped. The appartment is not in the centre of Florence, but it's a nice walk for about half an hour to go to the main attractions.The landlady is very friendly and helpfull. But note, that the appartment itself is not located on a quiet street. Especially one bedroom (With three single beds) is extremely noisy. Our kids complaint a lot about the traffic (and they were right!). If you are used to traffic noise, go ahaed!
I understand why my host writes the noise, live in a small town in Rhineland which has 53,000 inhabitants, and compare life in the city and the movement of life in the city, it is incomparable! The distance from the center is so insignificant seen such beauty that is observed and those walking 15 to 20 minutes are just pleasure, wat is left to guests who have visited Florence!
