This is an apartment that will totally capture your heart.Elegant and playful,perfect for children and a company of Adults,this place
provides every little detail you may need.Placed at a 50's building,newly renovated to give a pleasant and comfort stay for 2,3, or4 persons .
An affordable stay with the metro station just a stone away .The apartment is equipped with all the modern facilities including Espresso coffee machine,Microwave oven,Washing machine,air condition units etc.
Since the building is old there's no elevator so a good physical condition is required(4th floor),except that,everything else is made with respect to the people and their needs.

Handmade Carpets from Persia,Afghanistan and Greek villages as also authentic wall paintings and other Art objects make this unit a real optic pleasure.
A baby cot is also available to serve a family with a little baby.

The neighborhood is very residential with 2 bakeries,2 supermarkets,a meat market ,a grocery shop,a pharmacy and a fishing market all on our street.
We have also make everything possible to give you the safest stay by providing safety tips on both our units(safety doors etc)
With the metro station at your feet the access to all the important sightseeing is quite easy.We provide FREE wireless internet access and many complimentary stuff.
There is a 32' LCD TV at the living room and a 21'CRT TV at the bedroom.
The apartment is also ideal for long term stay as we very often accommodate people coming for business trips
A small library is available,including guide books and maps.
All this at the price of a youth hostel!!
The apartment is placed in a very residential neighborhood called Aghios Nikolaos,18-20 minutes by metro from the main square of Athens,Syntagma and just 4 stops away directly from Monastiraki metro station(Acropolis)
Supermarkets,grocery,meat and fish market,pharmacy and all the other needs are on the same street as also the metro station taking you all over Athens(including the airport and Piraeus Harbor).
A bus station is also 50m away.The nearest sightseeing is the Archaeological museum(about 8 minutes by bus).
Central train station (Larissa station) is 2 metro stops away.
Bus station for Delphi and Meteora is at walking distance, about 600m away(UNESCO world heritage sight and a geological phenomenon of extreme beauty)

The Art Apartment proved to be a most comfortable place to call home during my recent visit to Athens. The host, Eleni, was more than welcoming and answered all of my questions promptly! It's proximity to the Metro was very helpful. If I ever come back to Athens, I will certainly stay at the Art Apartment again!

Travelling a lot for business all over Greece I found this little gem just next to the metro station. The building does not prepare you for the beautiful space you are going to enter. The owner, Eleni, has decorated the apartment with true Works of Art on the walls! As for the practical scale, she has done everything to cover even the slightest need. There was even a straightener for hair (this detail blew my mind :) Everything was clean and tidy. The espresso machine - just a great touch - and there's also filter coffee machine (both with coffee freely available!). Plus she also had breakfast available for us even if it wasn't included in the price (what a lovely gesture). We enjoyed it at the cute green little terrace. I give this apartment 5 stars not because it's perfect but for the great hospitality, the privacy, the security and the impression of a true home... And for the loveliest and most polite host I have ever met (and I have met a lot). I'll be back...definitely! Chris.

Lacking of a few essentials (eg. No Teatowles, no Binliners, no sharp knife, no Benches for food preparation, no plug in the kitchen sink). Only one "comfy" (folding out bed) chair for a whole family - see picture -. Location is good - only 4 stops to the Acropolis and a little walk. Bathroom is 1950 (very small bathtub - but plenty of hot water). You can hear the neighbours next door easily - and they can hear you, too. Traffic noise on the Terrace - but you are in the city. Host is friendly and helpful - we were left a Greek Dish from her mother on our arrival in the evening which was very much appreciated.
