Greenwich Holiday Cottage is a lovely self-catering house which has been modernised throughout. Ideal for your romantic & luxurious holiday or business trip. Excellent summer holiday location within few minutes walk of the Royal Park venue of the recent London 2012 Olympic Equestrian events. Quiet and romantic location and just a 5 mins walk to the epicentre of Greenwich which is a vibrant Historic centre where you find an array of eateries, shops, pubs & cinema. Countless number of departmental stores for all your groceries to help with your self-catering. Easy access (mostly a short walk) to 5 different rail/tube/DLR Metro stations including North Greenwich tube station. Excellent Bus network both day & night. Few stops away is the o2 entertainment arena (walk if preferred). Travel to Central London is quick and easy with average journey time of about 15 mins. Local stations are in London travel zone 2 or 3. This holiday villa shows our belief that home is the best place in the world. Enjoy a true home on your holiday.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cette petite maison chaude, confortable et bien équipée. Greenwich est un quartier très agréable et tranquille. Il y a un Tesco express à proximité pour les courses. Par contre il n'est pas très près du centre de Londres. La maison est très bien pour un séjour avec des enfants. A améliorer: la propreté de la vaisselle, certaines casseroles sont très abimées. l' armoire dans la chambre à lit double doit être réparée Ampoule à remplacer dans le frigo. Il faudrait des draps aussi pour le divan lit du salon. Il faudrait ramasser les papiers qui trainent au jardin. Plus grave: Quand on est arrivé il y avait une grosse fuite à l'évacuation de l'évier et un y avait un simple bol en dessous pour recueillir les eaux. Heureusement que je l'ai vu tout de suite et que mon mari a pu réparer sinon c'était l'inondation (on a pas voulu déranger les propriétaires un 24 décembre au soir!)
Host response Thank you for the useful feedback and the reported help with the fix on the 24th. Just a few points to ensure other guests don't get the wrong impression from the feedback. For a two bedroom London accommodation this house is not best described as small. North Greenwich tube station is in London travel zone 2 (second most central of the 9 London travel zones) and is about 7 minutes tube Journey or 15mins surface rail journey to London Bridge station in Central London. It would have been helpful if guests inform us at check about any problem noted during the stay so we can address any of such that might have been missed rather than having surprise information on feedback. The more than enough extra bed linen provided in the cupboard and under the bedroom sofabed are for use on both sofa beds. Apologies if this was not pointed out to you at check in.
